Initially, the "make search" fails because I don't use or care about "/usr/ports" except when something strange happens. So I went ahead and did a make fetchindex so it would work, then it just gives a list of 12,300 available programs. So yes, the command as provided returned nothing to start with. Sorry about the off-topic post, but I figured there are plenty of seasoned Linux "root users" here, and even some with Perl knowledge :-) Is anyone aware of a patch, or addition, for pflogsumm that will parse the mail log entry: "Aug 17 01:30:17 myserver postfix/pickup[536842]: 8617517051D: uid=1138 from=<some.address>" If you're using canonical mapping, the sender has been rewritten by the time the entry that pflogsumm parses is written to the log. -joho |

Maybe these can shed some light on what's happening, so it may not be in Webmin "core". https://stackoverflow.com/questions/76875569/warning-mysql-opt-reconnect-is-deprecated-and-will-be-removed-in-a-future-versi https://github.com/perl5-dbi/DBD-mysql/issues/354 If I read this correctly, it's due to an update by Ubuntu for *libmysqlclient* Maybe it's just something for us all to be aware of then. -joho On 2023-08-16 11:05, Ilia wrote: > Hello, > > This is not a Webmin issue. Hello, This is not a Webmin issue. We don't set MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT anywhere, I don't think. You should check your applications which may call the mysql_get_option() or mysql_options() functions with this option. Getting this, server is running Webmin 2.101: /etc/webmin/status/monitor.pl WARNING: MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT is deprecated and will be removed in a future version. -joho |

Virtualmin GPL, if installed using *virtualmin-install.sh* script also provides Webmin. And, to fix repos just run the command in my first reply. That didn't make any difference, but maybe the repo sources are now incorrect: deb https://download.webmin.com/download/newkey/repository stable contrib ? I'm using Virtualmin GPL (not Pro), and this was after acting upon Virtualmin's suggestion. If you're using Virtualmin, you should be using the Virtualmin repos for Webmin updates, not the Webmin repos. Virtualmin warned that the old repo and/or keys were being used and asked if I wanted to switch to the new repo/key. I responded "Yes". While doing an "apt update", this is the result: W: GPG error: https://download.webmin.com/download/newkey/repository stable Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 2D223B918916F2A2 E: The repository 'https://download.webmin.com/download/newkey/repository stable Release' is not signed. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default. N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details. -joho |

Just for additional information, I have 2 other DHCP servers serving other specific parts of our network running the same Oracle 8.8, Webmin 2.021, ISC DHCP 4.3.6 which work fine. Granted they have far fewer devices to support. On Wed, Jun 14, 2023 at 1:15 AM Jamie Cameron <jca...@we...> wrote: > Thanks for those! Thanks for those! Does the 159.218.43.117 lease appear when you click on List Active Leases on the main page of the DHCP server module? Hi Jamie, thank you for responding. I have copied from the terminal 4 leases from the /var/lib/dhcp/dhcpd.leases file -- the first 2 leases (159.218.146.157 and 159.218.147.8) were taken from non-contiguous sections of the lease file and are visible when in Webmin I click on the 159.218.144.0 network and then click the List leases button. The next 2 leases (159.218.43.117 and 159.218.42.219) were copied from the same dhcpd.leases file and are not visible in the Webmin lease listing.
