Hi Tim,

"US English" does not appear at the end of the list, between "Svenska"
(Swedish) and "Tiếng Việt" (Vietnamese).

Also, I changed to "English India", "English UK" and "English US" in
LanguagesArray.php, but problem persists ("English US" does not appear).

I have no idea why that happens.

On Main Menu > Setup > System Parameters / Languages to Maintain
Translations for Item Descriptions,
in the select, the option "<option selected="selected"
value="en_US.utf8">English
US</option>" does not appear

[WebERP-developers] A proposal for SO price control

*Dear all:*

            Currently in webERP, users only have two choices for items
prices on SO: He can modify it or cannot. 

            I plan to add a range control for to allow the user who cannot
modify it now. I plan to add a setting option to set the range that the
users could modify the price.  For instance, he can increase the price based
on the default prices or can only decrease at a presetting limit. 

            And moreover, I'd also like to add approval feature for the
prices over the limit set. 

            Any comments are highly appreciated!

Hi Ade,

The sales order reports report on sales orders and the daily sales 
inquiry reports on invoices net of credit notes.
The sales order reports take no account of what is invoiced.

Extended means that it is showing the total of the quantity multiplied 
by the price.

I'm sorry that is one more thing I want to ask, You say that Sales orders
may not all be invoiced, is that the DailySalesInquiry.php report? if that's
true, is the SalesInquiry.php report is including the sales order that not
be invoiced yet too? or only report the invoice? Thank You.

Hi Exson,

Thank you for the bug report about FormDesigner. I will work on it.

Now, we have two versions:

(1) Which is inside the trunk. For backward compatibility I do not want to
touch it until we have an update script for the xml files (e.g. to rename
--uniform-- the different ways to call an attribute; etc.).

(2) Which is outside the trunk (
http://www.verdoramas.biz/FormDesigner/webERP.zip ). This for testing. I
think we can improve it a lot by: (a) reducing the "element" types, and (b)
using the same names that are used in functions PHP_Pdf_Creation for those
"element" types (e.g. "RoundRectangle" instead of 'Rectangle',
'CurvedRectangle' and 'Line').

Let me do one last attempt this week, before asking for help in what is out
of my reach.

[WebERP-developers] Daily Sales Inquiry and Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries Results

To all webERP Developers

I have a question about Daily Sales Inquiry (DailySalesInquiry.php) and
Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries (SalesInquiry.php) results.
For example, if I run the Daily Sales Inquiry for one salesperson in August
2013, the result was different if I run from the Sales Order Detail Or
Summary Inquiries for the same salesperson and same Month.

We have all of our sales transactions recorded in webERP and another system
just for backups, and when we compare the report from webERP and our system,
the closest numbers is from the Daily Sales Inquiry, but we need the detail
report from the Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries.

So my question is:
1. Why is the results from Daily Sales Inquiry And Sales Order Detail Or
Summary Inquiries is different? What makes it different?
2. In Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries there is Extended Cost and
Extended Price columns, what is Extended word mean? Thanks.

Agreed.

Salesmen may not always be mindful of credit worthiness in their hurry 
for a commission and I am not sure it is a good plan to have sales 
people creating customers really - unless it really is a one man band - 
and this is not really webERP territory they'd be better off with MYOB, 
Quickbooks or something.

In keeping with the more regular release policy, I have just rolled up a 
new release with all the latest bug fixes and one or two new areas of 
functionality. This release includes nice contributions from Ricard, 
Thumb, Rafael and icedlava - with Exson always in support and Paul 
squashing the odd bug too. Thanks to all those who contributed.


Thumb extended the salesman login functionality to ensure she is 
restricted to her own customers/orders. He and Exson also added the 
Chinese SQL option and modifications to the installer to use this as 
well as a number of bug fixes.

Rafael, made it so when selecting a language - the language description 
appears in the characters/language of the translation so they can 
actually read it! Also some improvements to the Form Designer.

Ricard made it so users need to have authority to act on specific bank 
account - with a new form to all users rights to be defined by bank account.

icedlava made a nice facility to clone an existing item to a new item

I made a new purchasing script to show a grid of all the items that a 
selected supplier sells that allows quantities to be entered for placing 
purchase orders to the users's default inventory location and I modified 
the purchase invoice entry to allow modification of PO line prices and 
quantites invoiced in a grid format rather than individual selections.

There are a few bugs squashed with this release too.

[WebERP-developers] Germany missing in dropdown country list

Hi all:

This morning I received a complain from a customer from Germany, as she
couldn't register in webSHOP.

Checked the CountriesArray.php and Germany is there (line 54) but it's not
shown on webERp's dropdown menu (I tested in my webERP and webERP demo as
well) and country list shown goes as:

   - Gabon
   - Gambia
   - Georgia
   - Ghana

But Germany is not there.

Could anyone, please check it out?

Hi Exson, if the token isn't in the users role then the link doesn't
appear on the menu.

token. And this script has added a control that when a salesman login, the
link will not display. So the sales man cannot create customer from this
interface. 

          But at the mean time, he can view this link at AR module. 

          So these two places are not consistent.

Hi Exson, access to the script to create customers is controlled by
the use of tokens, but they should only be able to create customers
with themselves as sales person. Some companies will be ok with sales
people creating their own customers, others will have internal
procedures whereby the new customer should be authorised by a manager.
Same with modification, a salesperson should only be able to modify
their own customers details.
