Hi Tim, "US English" does not appear at the end of the list, between "Svenska" (Swedish) and "Tiếng Việt" (Vietnamese). Also, I changed to "English India", "English UK" and "English US" in LanguagesArray.php, but problem persists ("English US" does not appear). I have no idea why that happens. Best regards, Rafael. ---------- 2013/12/4 Tim Schofield <tim...@gm...> > Hi Rafael, > > I think that it is translated into 'US English' and thus appearing at > the bottom of the list. > > I am no longer allowed to help people on the list so if I am right, > you can post this to the list to stop others being confused. > > Thanks > Tim > > On 4 December 2013 15:05, Rafael Chacón <raf...@gm...> > wrote: > > > > Hi, > > > > Any of you had this problem? : > > > > On Main Menu > Setup > System Parameters / Languages to Maintain > > Translations for Item Descriptions, > > in the select, the option "<option selected="selected" > > value="en_US.utf8">English US</option>" does not appear > > > > Best regards, Rafael. > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Sponsored by Intel(R) XDK > > Develop, test and display web and hybrid apps with a single code base. > > Download it for free now! > > > http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/clk?id=111408631&iu=/4140/ostg.clktrk > > _______________________________________________ > > Web-erp-developers mailing list > > Web...@li... > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/web-erp-developers > > > > > > -- > Course View Towers, > Plot 21 Yusuf Lule Road, > Kampala > T +256 (0) 312 314 418 > M +256 (0) 752 963 325 > www.weberpafrica.com > Twitter: @TimSchofield2 > Blog: http://weberpafrica.blogspot.co.uk/ > |

*Dear all:* Currently in webERP, users only have two choices for items prices on SO: He can modify it or cannot. I plan to add a range control for to allow the user who cannot modify it now. I plan to add a setting option to set the range that the users could modify the price. For instance, he can increase the price based on the default prices or can only decrease at a presetting limit. And moreover, I'd also like to add approval feature for the prices over the limit set. Any comments are highly appreciated! Thanks and best regards! Hi Ade, The sales order reports report on sales orders and the daily sales inquiry reports on invoices net of credit notes. The sales order reports take no account of what is invoiced. Extended means that it is showing the total of the quantity multiplied by the price. Hi Exson, Thank you for the bug report about FormDesigner. I will work on it. Now, we have two versions: (1) Which is inside the trunk. For backward compatibility I do not want to touch it until we have an update script for the xml files (e.g. to rename --uniform-- the different ways to call an attribute; etc.). (2) Which is outside the trunk ( http://www.verdoramas.biz/FormDesigner/webERP.zip ). This for testing. I think we can improve it a lot by: (a) reducing the "element" types, and (b) using the same names that are used in functions PHP_Pdf_Creation for those "element" types (e.g. "RoundRectangle" instead of 'Rectangle', 'CurvedRectangle' and 'Line'). To all webERP Developers I have a question about Daily Sales Inquiry (DailySalesInquiry.php) and Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries (SalesInquiry.php) results. For example, if I run the Daily Sales Inquiry for one salesperson in August 2013, the result was different if I run from the Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries for the same salesperson and same Month. We have all of our sales transactions recorded in webERP and another system just for backups, and when we compare the report from webERP and our system, the closest numbers is from the Daily Sales Inquiry, but we need the detail report from the Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries. So my question is: 1. Why is the results from Daily Sales Inquiry And Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries is different? What makes it different? 2. In Sales Order Detail Or Summary Inquiries there is Extended Cost and Extended Price columns, what is Extended word mean? Thanks. Agreed. Salesmen may not always be mindful of credit worthiness in their hurry for a commission and I am not sure it is a good plan to have sales people creating customers really - unless it really is a one man band - and this is not really webERP territory they'd be better off with MYOB, Quickbooks or something. This release includes nice contributions from Ricard, Thumb, Rafael and icedlava - with Exson always in support and Paul squashing the odd bug too. Thanks to all those who contributed. Thumb extended the salesman login functionality to ensure she is restricted to her own customers/orders. He and Exson also added the Chinese SQL option and modifications to the installer to use this as well as a number of bug fixes. Rafael, made it so when selecting a language - the language description appears in the characters/language of the translation so they can actually read it! Also some improvements to the Form Designer. Ricard made it so users need to have authority to act on specific bank account - with a new form to all users rights to be defined by bank account. icedlava made a nice facility to clone an existing item to a new item I made a new purchasing script to show a grid of all the items that a selected supplier sells that allows quantities to be entered for placing purchase orders to the users's default inventory location and I modified the purchase invoice entry to allow modification of PO line prices and quantites invoiced in a grid format rather than individual selections. There are a few bugs squashed with this release too. The full change log follows: 30/11/13 Ricard: Added user permissions by bank account so only certain users can see and create payments/receipts on bank accounts selected. 30/11/13 rchacon: Includes supplier-code, currency-code, and currency-name-from-CurrenciesArray.php in SelectSupplier.php. 2013/11/30 Thumb: Add salesman constraint to show salesperson's own sales orders invoice, customer etc in DailySalesInquiry.php,PDFDeliveryDifferences.php,PDFOrdersInvoiced.php,PDFOrderStatus.php,PDFPickingList.php,SalesByTypePeriodInquiry.php,SalesInquiry.php,SelectCompletedOrder.php. 28/11/13 Phil: Apply Tim's idea for stripping slashes from incorrectly displayed items PO_Items.php and DeliveryDetails.php 28/11/13 Thumb: Add salesman constraints to ConfirmDispatch_Invoice.php to ensure that sales can only print his own sales orders' invoice. 28/11/13 Thumb: Add constraints to salesman that he can only print his own sales orders in PrintCustOrder_generic.php 28/11/13 Thumb: Add constraints to salesman that he can only print his own sales orders in PrintCustOrder.php 28/11/13 Thumb: Add salesman login constraint to only their own customers available in SelectOrderItems.php and fixed SQL error of customers login. 27/11/13 Thumb: Add create new scripts to import Customers and Debtors. 26/11/13 Phil: Supplier invoice entry now allows modification of invoice quantities and prices for multiple goods received lines in line rather than having to go into each line to modify individually. 20/11/13 rchacon: Translate the name of each language to the name in their respective language. 20/11/13 Phil: Payments.php FunctionalExchangeRate was not defaulted appropriately when entering a supplier payment in FX from a bank account of the same currency selected and the transaction was posted immediately without update first. Fixed 19/11/13 Thumb/CQZ: Add webERP Chinese country sql including Chinese COA, currency, role, tax, transaction type etc which should be localized. 19/11/13 Thumb: Add '-' to telephone no pattern in CustomerBranches.php and WWW_Users.php. 19/11/13 Thumb: Correct translation of customer text and customer code in CustomerReceipt.php of locale file. 19/11/13 Thumb: Text 'settled transaction' position adjusted to proper position in PrintCustStatements.php. 18/11/13 Exson: Make inventory it as default to show inventory serial no in ConfirmDispatchControlled_Invoice.php. 18/11/13 Exson Make company name client side requirements consistent with server side in CompanyPreferences.php. 16/11/13 rchacon: Improves translation and format in PaymentMethods.php. 16/11/13 Phil: MacPhotoBiker reported shipment charges html5 type=number removed to use the class=number javascript' 12/11/13 rchacon: Allow translation of the subkey name in FormDesigner.php. 07/11/13 rchacon: Allow translation of the key name in FormDesigner.php. 7/11/13 Exson: Add check box to allow user to decide weather raw material is sellable or not. 7/11/13 Exson Revise the bin definition to NOT NULL DEFAULT '' as suggest by Tim to make it more ISO compatible. 06/11/13 rchacon: Allow multiline printing of salesorderdetails.narrative in quotations. 5/11/13 Phil: Fixed the warning error in GLAccountInquiry.php add change variable type to array to make min() and max() reasonable. Hi all: This morning I received a complain from a customer from Germany, as she couldn't register in webSHOP. Checked the CountriesArray.php and Germany is there (line 54) but it's not shown on webERp's dropdown menu (I tested in my webERP and webERP demo as well) and country list shown goes as: - Gabon - Gambia - Georgia - Ghana But Germany is not there. Could anyone, please check it out? Regards, Ricard |

*Hi, Tim,* Thank you for your comments. You're right that basically the scripts should be controlled by token. And this script has added a control that when a salesman login, the link will not display. So the sales man cannot create customer from this interface. But at the mean time, he can view this link at AR module. So these two places are not consistent. If no objection, I'll remove the limit on SelectCustomer.php. Thanks and best regards! Hi Exson, access to the script to create customers is controlled by the use of tokens, but they should only be able to create customers with themselves as sales person. Some companies will be ok with sales people creating their own customers, others will have internal procedures whereby the new customer should be authorised by a manager. Same with modification, a salesperson should only be able to modify their own customers details. *Dear all:* Thank you for Thumb's hard working! We've almost go through and reworked all related scripts. We've found that the sales has not been authorized to create new customer accounts. Is it a reasonable constraint? Any comments are highly appreciated! Thanks and best regards! *Hi, Rafael:* Thank you for your hard working! I've received a bug report about form designer. Since it's late here now, I have no time to check what's wrong. Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in D:\weberp\htdocs\webERP\includes\php-gettext\gettext.php on line 258 Thanks and best regards!
