Our AMP implementation is very strict with respect to include handling. All php code sections must be terminated properly with ?>. On every webERP distribution, including 4.11.3, we find a number of files missing this termination. It is time consuming to check every file for proper termination. There are a number of files in /includes that are not properly terminated. In addition in /includes/tcpdf..., /includes/phpplot..., /includes/barcodepack..., /doc/manual... .php and .inc files are missing the ?> terminator in many cases. We recognize that some php implementations relax this requirement, but having such is good programming practice, and in our case a rigid requirement. Placing ?> terminator in these files works in all implementations. We downloaded the most recent distribution 4.11.3 and installed it on our server. We notice a significant drop in responsiveness when logging into the system, navigating the menues, as well as painting any new screen. There appears to have been a lot of work to support multiple languages so that a user in one language can create documents (invoices, orders, etc.) in the target user's language, i.e customer or vendor's language. We are trying to understand the causes of this new slower performance. The prior versions were delightfully responsive. We have made no changes to our server configuration. -- View this message in context: http://weberp-accounting.1478800.n4.nabble.com/Performance-4-11-3-tp4657575.html Sent from the web-ERP-developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

Well I am a bit confused by this - I thought I had long since allowed labour type items i.e. dummy items that have labour recovery accounts set up (although could be used for other subcontract services) to be added to purchase orders. I have made the necessary changes just now. We use sub-tier vendors for several of our manufacturing operations. There currently is no integration between the Purchasing System and Work Orders. It should be possible to when a Purchase Order is generated to create work orders for those items that are manufactured with a BOM. We would envision that upon issuing the Purchase Order one or more Work Orders would be automatically created at the sub-tier's location. If inventory needed to be transferred (issues) to the customer such would be done via a mechanism integral to the work order issue function. When the finished items are received from the sub-tier, either receipt would be entered at the work order and noted on the purchase order or the purchase order receiving function would be utilized to perform a work order receipt. As things currently are implemented there is a great deal of duplicate entry with many chances for error. We routinely have sub-tier vendors perform value added operations on parts. While inventory is shipped and received, the items being billed are value added operation, e.g. solder connectors. The PO_Items.php denies utilization of inventory items with mbflag = D, A, K, or G. Items of type service/labor have an mbflag = D. When we receive the parts back from the sub-tier vendor we do not want to create new inventory, since we need to build the item using inventory transferred to the sub-tier vendor. We have made a simple modification to the PO_Items.php script replacing all occurrences of mbflag<>'D' with mbflag<>'X' (such being done to allow for easy reconstruction of the script if necessary). Things appear to work as expected, except that when creating the purchase order the system has no cost to use by default. We see that receipts can be properly made with no inventory being created. Does anyone see any potential problems with this change? Thank you, Bob Thomas -- View this message in context: http://weberp-accounting.1478800.n4.nabble.com/Unable-to-purchase-Inventory-types-of-service-labor-tp4657567.html Sent from the web-ERP-developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

Hi for all! After revise schema for weberp, we find inside files default.sql, demo.sql, weberpchine.sql following tables, with duplicated function index key: banktrans, gltrans, mrpdemandtypes, salescatprod, stockrequest, storequestitemns. These are commands executed to drop these keys, run on your database will clean unnecessary index. alter table banktrans drop key ref_10, drop key ref_9, drop key ref_8, drop key ref_7; alter table banktrans drop key ref_6, drop key ref_5, drop key ref_4, drop key ref_3, drop key ref_2; alter table gltrans drop key tag_2, drop key tag_3, drop key tag_4; alter table mrpdemandtypes drop key mrpdemandtype; alter table salescatprod drop key manufacturers_id_2; alter table salescatprod drop key manufacturers_id; alter table stockrequest drop key departmentid_2; alter table stockrequest drop key loccode_2; alter table stockrequestitems drop key stockid_2, drop key dispatchid_2; Following revised tables contain entries commented and identified by: 1 - revised-081-, 2 - revised-082-, 3 - revised-083-, 4 - revised-084-, 5 - revised-085-, 6 - revised-086-, All this are on pastebin [1] [1] http://pastebin.com/EgXjpqb1 Please Phil could you verify and confirm these changes for next release? You need to edit config.php to add appropriate entries to select the new company. You can also remove the entry for the existing deleted company too: You need a line like below for each company you wish to be able to select //Installed companies $CompanyList[0] = array('database'=>'weberpdemo' ,'company'=>'WebERP Demo Company' ); $CompanyList[1] = array('database'=>'yourcoydatabasename' ,'company'=>'Your Company PLC' ); Phil Phil Daintree Logic Works Ltd - +64 (0)275 567890 http://www.logicworks.co.nz On 03/07/14 03:16, bukola wrote: > Hello, > > I created a New Company on my weberp, I later deleted the company name from > phpMyAdmin. > > When i attempt to log in, the deleted company still appears on the company > name field of the company drop down. > > Also, I attempted creating a new company and i get this error: You have an > error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB > server version for the right syntax to use near 'company' at line 1. > > Kindly assist. > > Thanks > > |

To remove the company you should remove the sub directory under companies for that database, and also remove the line referring to it at the bottom of the config.php file (if there is one it depends on your version). Thanks Tim |

Hello, I created a New Company on my weberp, I later deleted the company name from phpMyAdmin. When i attempt to log in, the deleted company still appears on the company name field of the company drop down. Also, I attempted creating a new company and i get this error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'company' at line 1. Kindly assist. *Dear all,* Thank you for your long time nice support! Recently, I face some problem about the location (warehouse) constraint in webERP. The main problem seems come from delivery confirmation. There are some situation that delivery are not sure during sales orders creation. But the Confirm_delivery feature get the location data from sales orders. Sometime we have to fulfill the same orders from different locations. We have to create an work around for this situation now. I've studied the stockmoves table and found it records the locations data. Then is it a nice idea to make location selectable during we confirm_delivery? At the mean time, during place sales orders, the search result is filtered by customer's default location, shall we make this configurable? Any comments are highly appreciated! Thanks and best regards! *Hi, Phil,* I think the compromise way is to add the strpos() to the original scripts. if( mb_strpos() or strpos() ) { } else{ }; I've test mb related function before and it seems there is some uncertainty with them. This topic seems more complex then their looks. Best regards! Ah yes I see.... tricky! Not sure what the best solution is here - but it seems incorrect to be using the non- multi-byte character functions when we are using multi-byte character set. *Hi, Phil,* Thank you for your ideas for this. It's sure that your solution will fix the fields input with comma problem. I think the design for this consideration at least has one consideration is to separate number from text string. When the fields content is quoted, it'll be handled as text string even it should be a number. In excel or open office's data sheet, the number properties will lost due to this change. Thanks and best regards! Hi Exson, I wondered why we don't just always enclose the output in quotes and why there needs to be a test to see if there is a comma in it at all. Couldn't we just always quote ... I'll commit this to see if it works for you? *Hi, Phil,* Thank you for your nice reply. I'll remove it later. Thank you for reviewing my revision. For multi-byte character set, the comma is not coded in '44' as ASCII, at least in Chinese characters set. So it'll not destroy the delimiter function of csv files. The actual one make the delimiter failed is the ASCII coded 44, unfortunately, mb_strpos() failed to to sort it out. The strpos() does. The solution at least work for Chinese characters. If any mistake, please correct me! Thanks and best regards!
