Hi,
in released versions you could open branch properties ("P"), goto
"Layout" and toggle "Free positioning of children (experimental)".
As the name suggests, this does not work soooo well.
In upcoming releases there will be more layout options, hope I'll be
able to release an alpha version soon to sourceforge.
