wandys, I've just finished reviewing your usr_30.txt. Lord that was tough. Good job! Anyways I have a few comments laied down below: (I couldn't send chinese directly with this service. so.....) --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- Line# Comments --------------------------------------------------------- 188 Missing a sentence or two 228 The use of 'fu4gai4' is probably wrong. 358 'zui4chi1wen2ben3' -> 'yuan2wen2ben3' 375 'tuo3xie2' -> 'zhe2zhong1' 424 'hui2tui4jian4' can we find a better word for Backspace here. Any suggestion? 456 Translating 'great' into 'wei3da4de' isn't right. --------------------------------------------------------- That was all. Hopefully you will be able to figure out what I was talking about. lang2 |

Hi all, Please update your sandbox. I've added in a guides.txt in 'data' and checked in a new 'dict.txt'. This is to make sure that we translate *as a group* not as individules. I think there should be compulsory ones and recommendations. E.g things like 'folding' has to be translated into one word in all the documents. These are all *drafts* and they should be dynamic as well. I am only starting these to ask your opinion. It is more of a place-holder for you guys to contribute than anything. So please do take a look (won't take you long) and see what you think. Either it is great of crap, please discuss them here. Thanks, lang2 |

Hi all, I've just checked in the latest effort of the quickref.txt. Everything is done except for the millions of settings. I'd like you to review it (I think we have to have some kinda such a mechanism). Since this file touchs almost every major aspect of Vim, it would greatly help us in uniformity. Looking forward for your comments. I will not work on this file again for a few days just to make sure all the comments are in so take you time. Thanks a million. lang2 |

I will put you down then. > It's a pity that I have a problem to use the maillist Shall I suggest you do the following for the mailing list matter: 1. Go to the webpage: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vimcdoc-translate 2. Input your e-mail address and subscribe to the list (as I don't think you have succesfully subscribed yet) 3. You will get a confirmation mail. Follow the instrcuction inside. Hopefully after that you will be sorted. Do the similiar with the announce mailinglist if you wish. But that is not as important as this one. > There were problems with the email commands you sent to Mailman via > the administrative address > <vim...@li...>. Indeed on the cosoft ml archive it shows that Merlin is working on usr_20.txt. ?$^?%^?$. I've messed this up. Ken & Merlin: Can you guys see why it is important for us to communicate more? Someone suffers already (for my siliness partially). Merlin could you tell us whether you are still working on that file or not please? ASAP. YC: Could I ask you please to opt for another file and keep the good work you have done for usr_20.txt. Even if Merlin has finished his work, we can always merge the best of two efforts together. Apologies again. So guys, please keep a good eye on me in case I made some silly mistake again. lang2 > > > __________________________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
