#946 VICE crashes when saving snapshot
what VICE version are you using? Cocoa 3.1 or 3.0 (works fine in 2.4)
what operating system are you using? 10.12.6 (16G29)
what did you do? CMD+OPTION+S (save snapshot)
what did happen? Corrupted snapshot file created, but VICE crashed. Tried several times with same result. Also could not restore from any of those snapshots. My goal is to store a snapshot of my game status in Pool of Radiance, as I often do in 2.4
what did you expect to happen? Successful save of snapshot file that can be used later.
closing, the cocoa port is dead. please try the SDL or GTK3 port
It's been ages, but I think I had problems with SDL in general. I'll have to do some new testing to refresh my memory on all this.
