So, it looks like my bios is pre-efi (even the latest update. However, I'm having the same issues as the EFI folks--automatic repair loop.

I don't see a file called bootmgfw.efi. I don't see a veracrypt anything. well you can use DellSystemDetect to identify the problem and fix it with Windows 10.

    hi,
I looking for some help regarding veracrypt ..
I had my friend laptop fully encrypted ssd drive which is stuck on boot repair loop.
after I read how to fix it I managed to restore missing UEFI of Vera and successfully booted from it but .. after I type the password and PID in it is stuck saying "authentication" an nothing happens.. Windows is not loading .
I have to mention that my fiend lost he's recue usb stick. so I used one form internet.
and same thing is happening is asking for password and then its stuck saying authentication.
I've tried different options of rescue usb but nothing changes ..and I'm out of ideas?

I can access files from mounted drive via veracrypt when I choose to > Mount Without Pre-Boot Authentication then I can see all files on drive and all looks ok , so at least I know that password is correct . but still I can force it to permanently decrypt this drive or to boot from it ..
    Any solutions for this ?
