I would like to receive some test results especially from those who have CPUs without SSE4/AVX/AES.
For the "Paramater incorrect" issue, it will need more investigation and I'm not sure it will be fixed in 1.21.
For those affected by this issue: do you accept to test using debug version of VeraCrypt that I can share with you in order to give more details about the cause?

Testing RC3 now, but seems that automatic mounting of favorites doesnt work. I have some volumes that should be mounted with logon, but nothing happens. Works fine for all past versions.

@Nilsen: I can't reproduce your issue. If you are mounting disks, it is possible that their GUID changed after reboot (Windows doesn't guarantee that disk GUID will always be the same). For such situations, VeraCrypt enables using VolumeID property to identify and mount favorites.
To diagnose your issue, check that the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" contain an entry for VeraCrypt whose value is ""C:\Program Files\VeraCrypt\VeraCrypt.exe" /q preferences /a logon /a favorites". Also recheck the favorites configuration in case the mount at logon option is not set anymore.

Registry key is there, mount at logon option is checked for all the volumes that i want to mount, nothing else should be changed. But i deleted all my favorites and added them to list again, will see if it works after next reboot...in the morning ;-)

Samething is happening to me as Nilsen. And this is on a clean install. Usually when VeraCrypt comes out with a new build, I reimage my OS back to a clean slate. After the reimage process, I install the new VerCrypt build and starts the system encryption process. I mount and then add System Favorite as normal.
However, this time will not auto mount after a reboot. Nothing has changed in my process for the last 3 builds.
I tried to downgrade back to 1.20 beta but it will not allow me unless I reimage back to square one again.

1.20 Beta
I have reimaged my OS back to a clean slate and installed VeraCrypt 1.20 Beta. I went through my normal routine and encrypted the System OS. After the encryption of the OS completed, I rebooted and mounted a drive and then added it to System Favorite. I rebooted and it worked.
1.21 RC
Windows seems to take a bit longer to login after entering the Windows password. It seems VeraCrypt is looking for the System Favorite drives.
Mournir, I noticed a difference in the registry key (you provided above) between version 1.20 & 1.21: /a favorites
Is this " /a favorites" new for version 1.21 because I don't recall seeing it in the registry key for previous versions? Could this be the reason for no auto mount on System Favorite drives?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
OK, after rebooting i got same behavior, no favorites auto-mounting. Mounting it manually with "mount favorites" works, but no no password prompt popping up at system logon like before.
If using "mount all at logon" in settings it works, but that tries to mount all volumes, takes much time and didnt use correct drive letters...

Nilsen, would you be able to check the registry key that Mournir provided above and see if there is a "/a favorites" in your value? I am wondering if version 1.21 need this for auto mount?

There must be some explanation why I can't reproduce on my side. "/a favorites" has always been there, it tells VeraCrypt to mount favorites.
@WRVC2016: can you please open Windows Event Viewer and look for events whose source is "VeraCryptSystemFavorites". These will show the system favorites mounting process and if an error happens it will be logged there. Do you see any error message? Can you please extract the sequence indicated in the events and post it here?
For both of you, can you compare your Preferences and option with the screenshots below of the configuration used in my tests?

When a System Favorite Volume is created or added, I noticed the the information is stored: "C:\Windows\System32\VeraCrypt System Favorite Volumes.xml"

Hi,
Is 1.20 for OSX the stable release or will OSX also be updated to 1.21 soon?
OSX version of 1.20 is OK. Neverthless, 1.21 release will include installers for Linux, Mac OSX and Windows.
