It might be interesting to integrate Argon2d, Argon2i or Argon2id into Veracrypt. This is the winner of the Password Hashing Competition and it could be an interesting update to further develop Veracrypt.

PS: I fixed the title with the correct spelling of Argon. You had added an "a" after the "r" in your spelling.
The name was a slip of the tongue about The Lord of the Rings ... I mixed the two words :))
