It has come to my attention that a translation of some stamps in Tux Paint included some religious opinion which, obviously, was not part of the original description of the stamp. I want to make sure that people out here understand that (1) that's not a good thing to do (it makes the Tux Paint project look bad, simply due to one person's chocie), (2) I've had a lot of trust in the people contributing to the project, since I only understand English (and a tiny bit of Spanish), (3) I really wish for the translated strings to be as _literal_ a translation of the original English as possible, and (4) _if_ you have any issue with the description of a stamp, or suggestions for improvement, I prefer that you bring them up here, on the 'tuxpaint-i18n' mailing list... or less preferably, you contact me directly and we go from there. Please do not take it upon yourself to alter the description of something, for _any_ reason. In this case, Tux Paint has been seen as a bad project due to religious commentary. Obviously that is not what we want. But even when it comes to simply improving a description a little, it would be most beneficial if the improvements went 'upstream' (to English), so that the improvement could be made to ALL translations.
