TeXstudio is great, but since version 2.9 there is an annoying bug/feature that appeared.
Whenever the I put the cursor in a line in the editor, automatically the font size in this line reduces and the spacing gets weird.
Even worst, whenever I try to mark a string (in order to delete or to copy it) there is a shift between where the cursor stand and what is marked in blue.

I looked around in the options menu and couldn't find a way to turn it off.
This is the reason I stay with TexStudio 2.8.8.
I would be really happy if it can fixed/turned off.

    have you changed option/syntax highlighting/line highlighting/current ?
You could try to rename texstudio.ini, so check if the default settings still have this problem.

Which OS are you using ?

I tried to uninstall TexStudio completely and erase all user files.
The only way I managed to restore normality was by uninstalling TeXStudio and install TexStudio v. 2.8.8.
As for OS, I use Windows 8.
I can also say that I installed v. 2.9.4 on a friends computer (Windows 7) and this bug did not appear.
