Some news, I've trying the Funambol portal (my.funambol.com) and start syncing after the funambol sms setup. I've got the same problem. I can only sent appointment from my K750 to Funambol's calendar. After sending items, i've got session failed. Maybe a device problem? 2008/5/13 Sébastien Legrand <leg...@gm...>: > Hello > > Thanks for your reply. > > I'm trying to sync under OX tree, only the oxcal item (type VCal, no > encrypt) > > > Sébastien > > > > 2008/5/13 gilberto yahoo <gbm...@ya...>: > > > Hi > > thanks for the onfo. we cannot reproduec the issue. could you send more > > info about the items you are syncing, please? > > gibi > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > > *From:* Sébastien Legrand <leg...@gm...> > > *To:* syn...@li... > > *Sent:* Friday, May 09, 2008 1:08 PM > > *Subject:* [funambol-users] open-xchange + sonyericsson K750 syncing in > > onlyone way > > > > Hello, > > > > I use Funambol 6.5.14 + oxconnector 6.5.8 > > I would like to sync my SE K750i with open-xchange calendar but I can > > only sync from my K750 to open-xchange. This is strange. Please make sure that the portal is configured to use IMAP connection and not POP (from the description, it looks like the normal POP behavior). I apologize for this problem. It was caused by a script to import the archives of this and other Funambol-related mailing lists in the new forge. The script is not working as previously tested and that caused the bounces. We are investigating the issue. Hey, I was wondering if anyone here knew if and when the following features were on the road map to being released for the WM version of Funambol: 1) Html email - WM 6.1 introduced full html support for all its messaging inboxes, including pop3 and imap. Funambol, apparently, makes it revert the inbox back to text only. Not sure if that's a function of the server or the client at this point. 2) Two - way synchronization (reverse push)- with an exchange server (MS direct push), when I check a message on my phone, it will show up as checked on my server and workstation. With funambol, I could be out of the office for a while checking messages, but come back to my desk to find the last 5 emails still marked "unread". Actually, it won't update my IMAP server that mail has been checked at all, so if I log in directly to webmail, all my recent messages appear to still be unread?? Additionally, if I delete a message, it won't update until I manually sync on the server. These 2 issues are very frustrating because if I were to go back to straight IMAP, these problems wouldn't exist (checked mail remains in sync, html would be preserved, etc). The only reason to use funambol as is, is for the prospect of push email without an exchange server. Any even that seems to be difficult to implement properly. Any idea if these issues will be addressed? ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Hello, I've got some people here who want to sync the contacts of their mobile phones with one exchange public folder. So far no problem - but they want only those contacts on the exchange server to be synced, which they have marked for themselves. This mark will be just a comma seperated list of initials in some contact field. If the field contains the initial of the user it shall be synced otherwise it shall be ignored. What they want is a common base of contacts from which they pick those which are important for them. The public folder contains about 500 contacts. Each user only needs about 100 of them. My idea is to set up one sync source for each user. The sync source then applies the described filter and offers only those contacts for synchronisation which relevant to the user. Has anyone ever setup something like this? Best regards Manfred Heubach |

Hello everybody! I have a problem with the following case: My Thunderbird calendar has a calendar entry like this: BEGIN:VEVENT CREATED:20080505T052802Z LAST-MODIFIED:20080505T052802Z DTSTAMP:20080505T052802Z UID:fa9a4340-c923-40f1-8c83-9d2696fa249e SUMMARY:Pfingstsonntag DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20040530 DURATION:P1D <-------------- ! LOCATION:Schleswig-Holstein SEQUENCE:0 URL;VALUE=URI:http://www.ecoline-kalender.de/ft/pfingstsonntag END:VEVENT When synching this type of event with a Funambol server, the server saves it as lasting two days instead of only one. => Result is an all-day event lasting from 2004-05-30 to 2004-05-31. When I change the end date in another client and send the modified back to Thunderbird, it obviously works (since the DURATION value will be removed and be replaced by a correct DTEND value). Is there any way to fix this incorrect behavior? Thank you in advance! Hauke |

My suggestion is that you should not need to build and run the server in netbeans. Usually all you need to do is to develop a connector (search for Funambol module development tutorial, it will tell you more). Hi All I've just discovered funambol and I must say that I'm really impressed by it. Syncing your phone up OTA is just such a good idea. I've noticed a posting saying that there is a plan to release a new synchronisation plugin and the Java email client for Blackberry around about now. Can anyone give an update on the expected release date for this? thanks David Williams |
