For example, when I made Tux Paint, I could not use just any TrueType Fon= ts, because 99.9999% of them have very restrictive licenses regarding redistribution. We cannot /assume/ we can take something and make it Free (as in speech) without permission! -bill! |

Hi, The song "loser.xm" was downloaded from http://www.modarchive.com as I announced during the IRC meeting. This site let ppl download songs freely. However, few of them are copyrighted by the artists who created them. Concerning "loser.xm", I couldn't find any copyright or author's informations about it. I think that we can use it without problems in SuperTux. I'm sorry but I'm not a music composer :D You Bill, should grab some real artists for us ;) -- Never say if I could turn back the time, life is going on ! |
