THE CONCERN: We forget during which upgrade of SM this happened, but the following will not resolve itself ... The avelsieve plugin's 'table.php' page is completely blank. The previous version of this plugin that was used without issue was 1.9.8. As time passed, and future SM updates were applied, the avelsieve 'Filters' page (table.php) remains blank. We have just upgraded to avelsieve-1.9.9 and the table.php page remains blank --no interface-- Exactly what has gone sideways? |

Greetings list members and masters; As per this note on the page for the G/PGP Encryption Plugin: NOTE: The current release of this plugin is not functional with newer versions of SquirrelMail, however, a working version is in testing. You can help test by asking for a copy on the squirrelmail-plugins mailing list or contacting Paul Lesniewski would it be possible for me to obtain a copy of this plugin to play with? -- Bob Miller 867-334-7117 / 867-633-3760 http://computerisms.ca bo...@co... You do not need to change all the addressbook_init() calls as such. You probably only want to disable the lookups that happen when messages are displayed to reduce LDAP server load. If you disable LDAP lookups indiscriminately -- for example, when the user clicks the "Add to Address Book" link, this can lead to users duplicating addresses that are already in a centrally managed global address book in their personal address books. This creates problems if/when the global one is updated. The better solution is more fine-grained control over if and when lookups happen. If you want to help test a newer version of the plugin that has such controls, ask me offlist for a copy. -- Paul Lesniewski SquirrelMail Team Please support Open Source Software by donating to SquirrelMail! http://squirrelmail.org/donate_paul_lesniewski.php |

This bug occurs when I am using html compose format and spell checking When spell checking in HTML compose format the 'add to dictionary' option does not appear - when in 'plain text' format all works fine and custom directory is created and updated. I am running Squirrelmail 1.4.22 on php 5.3.3 with the add_address 1.0.3 plugin. I have noticed, after getting complaints from the ldap server admin, that when the add_address plugin is enabled, an ldap bind and unbind is performed for every email message a user views. This results in a huge number of requests to the ldap server that perform no useful work but drive up the load on the ldap server. This is even sadder considering that the user cannot write to the ldap server even if it wanted to add an address to their address book which is stored on the mysql server. Is it possible to avoid this ldap bind/unbind process when viewing an email message? thanks, David -- David Severance Central Computing Services Office of Information Technology (949) 824-7552 se...@uc... |

mmmm, it works...... but now, the text I have written, the one that you can see at the upper text box of the spellcheker window, becomes altered with the strange characters, at the lower part, where the spellchecker interacts, averything is ok now. Yet another related issue. Now that it works, if I apply spellchecker in Spanish I got this: Can not find "raices" at the Dicctionary. Change to "raÃces" the correct one should be "raíces" with an accent on the i, but all the suggested words that should have an accent in any letter are shown with strange characters instead of the accented letter. Any idea of why this is happening and how to solve it? thanks for your help. In there it says: 2) If you do not need to change the default plugin settings, skip to the next step. Otherwise, change into the html_mail directory, copy config.php.sample to config.php and edit config.php, making adjustments as you deem necessary. that's what I did, that is what I understand as the default config. Thanks for supporting me.
