Sounds great! Also sounds like some help and explanation for this will be required. -- Lewis Bergman Texas Communications 4309 Maple St. Abilene, TX 79602 915-695-6962 |

Some of my co-workers and I were thinking about all the features in squirrelmail, and we came upon one that most web based e-mail companies have and we don't. To the best of my reasoning I think it would be implimented best in the filters plugin. What about an option that filters spam out.... instead of moving the file to a folder, it simply deletes. I know that there already is the option to move a message to the trash folder, but doing something like that might not be exactly obvious to the average user. I don't know, maybe I am not giving people enough credit. What does everyone think? -- Gerrit Padgham Systems Administrator CommNav http://www.commnav.com |

Already thought of that while I was in there editing it :) Thanks for the reminder, tho. I'm currently testing. Unless there is anything else, I should have the next update later today. Peter, I have verified that this is what will happen if you have the "Check all boxes" item checked. In this case, the Sent folder is processed like any other as far as RECENT messages go (not the same as the new items shown in the list). I'm currently looking to "disable" checking the Sent box for anything. As a side note to everyone else, our mail server here at work was down for a bit while we had someone installing some new routers and switches. I seem to have missed my mail for the past day or two, so any items of note please let me know. For one, I am changing the plugin name to "newmail", seeing that it is now much more than a sound player :) Thanks! I wanted to move this discussion over to the plugin list. Again, the symptom is each time I send a mail, I get a report of a new item. All of my folders report no new items. In the event that I recieve a copy of the message (like this one) I get a second notification when the copy arrives. Have all options execpt enable media enabled (ie "Check all boxes, not just INBOX" "Count only messages that are RECENT" "Show popup window on new mail" are checked.) I feel pretty strongly that it is detecting "new mail" in the sent folder. -Peter -- Get my PGP key at http://www.hutnick.com/pgp |
