Great news.  Can you explain what you did to fix it?  IIR it was a
couple of reasons why the reload didn't work.

Or, I guess I can just wait for the code to drop. :)

Hi all,

sorry to repeat the question, but I never got any real answer to the last
post. Wont ask again, promise:-)

The current support for scripting languages like Groovy and BSH, in the
sandbox, are not working as it apprently once did (
http://opensource2.atlassian.com/projects/spring/browse/SPR-1253). I would
appreciate if anyone could let me know if this is something that is worked
on. I have understood that some support are planed for 1.3 but have not see=
n
any details.

I would assume it is the expected behaviour. Spring code base is  
heavily instrumented with various levels of log requests to give  
users a pretty clear picture on what is going on inside the  
framework. In this particular case it just "warns" (no exceptional  
condition has been raised) that even though you configured Spring CMT  
engine to rollback the TX on the particular Exception, no TX is  
available (due too the propagation level configured) to be rolled  
back. IMO, such warnings are very useful and informative, but again,  
that's my own opinion ;-)

Keep in mind this SWF 1.0 DTD has not yet been published, as SWF 1.0 RC1 has
not yet been released.  While I guess it's ok to be out on the website now,
that's why it wasn't done so yet.  It wasn't an oversight.

transaction, no tx is created as expected. However, if my method throws 
an exception, AbstractPlatformTransactionManager logs a warning:

WARN (AbstractPlatformTransactionManager.java:473) - Should roll back 
transaction but cannot - no transaction available

Is this expected? If I change to PROPAGATION_NEVER, the same warning is 
logged.  If I change to PROPAGATION_REQUIRED, no warning is logged.

Doesn't appear to be causing any problems, but is annoying to see in the 
log. Is this expected behavior? Looks like the logger.info() was changed 
to logger.warn() in 1.1-rc1.

        if (begin == -1) {
            begin = 0;
        }
        else {
            begin++;
        }
the new code is:
        int begin = (uri.startsWith("/") ? 1 : 0);

This is not right, since the URI comes from request.getRequestURI() 
which will include the entire request URI past the protocol level.

I have reopened SPR-1361.

It is not clear there is actually a good fix to SPR-1361, to the extent 
that the controller itself has no real clue how an incoming path was 
mapped to it. It's the handler mapping that decides that. So it can not 
know how much of the path to strip off.

[Springframework-developer] UrlFilenameViewController not working in 1.2.6 Nightly

A few minutes ago, I tried to upgrade AppFuse from 1.2.5 to 1.2.6
Nightly.  For some reason, any URLs that I have mapped to my
UrlFilenameViewController results in a 404.  If I revert back to
spring.jar from 1.2.5, everything works fine.

Any ideas?

I've heard about that one before. It's something that Jikes object to within
a JAMON class, though, so we cannot do anything about it within Spring -
other than updating to some newer JAMON version that might have fixed that
issue.
