I've used Simple PHP Blog to maintain a family web site for years. Thank you for providing it! The PHP Version my host was using was version 4 for some time. However, they've now asked that I update to version 5.4, which I did. However, since the change, my older version of Simple PHP Blog won't be displayed online. All the files are clearly there via FTP. I suspect I need to update the site to the latest version of Simple PHP Blog, which I think supports PHP version 5.4, however, I really don't want to mess this up. I have years of entries so I thought I would ask if there is a process I should follow to upgrade Simple PHP Blog from an older version to the latest version without losing the content?
There is a file included called docs/UPGRADING.TXT that describes this process.
