At the start of a race, when the speed is 0, the cars tend to slip sideways down the banked sections of the track on speedways.

I think it should be solved by developing rolling starts. No car is expected to stand still on a 30 degree banked turn...

I think at 30 degree a car can stand. But certainly not slide in the way it does in SD, I will have a look at it.

Not that we have any fuel to leak...
    http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-car-tilt-test.htm

This will be dependent on the particular car (mass, center of gravity, etc) and the track (co-efficient of friction).

Do the cars slide when static and in neutral? Or only when starting to accelerate, where a good portion of the 'friction circle' will be using the forward direction.

With RC1 the problem can be seen in Caddo with the Cavello 360 when at turn1-1 (DfS 469). Also seen with Lynx and Toro-GRT.

With car in 1st gear and maximum braking the car twitches rear wheel (plus red accel line) back and forth and as a result slides sideways.

With car in Neutral, rear wheels spin and the back of the car slides down the slope in a plume of tire smoke!!!

Wheels will spin in neutral from the start of the race. Looks like there's a value which is getting all screwed up.

Sliding on bank slowly occurs with SimV3, but neutral behaviour is good. SimV2.0 seems back end slides a lot on the bank and to have issues (tilted over car), but neutral behaviour is good.

Above mentioned red-line is the thin read line in the cross hairs (key '4').
