Announcing Slash'EM version 0.0.7E7F3 (stable) and 0.0.8E0F1 =20 (development) ... Version 0.0.7E7F3 is the third stable release of Slash'EM Vampire. =20 Version 0.0.8E0F1 is the second alpha release of Slash'EM 0.0.8 (not =20 yet named). Summary of changes made: The long-standing bug that tended to cause crashes when returning to =20 levels has finally been fixed. The Holy Spear of Light and the Candle of Eternal Flame now work as =20 permanent light sources once again. Polearms can't be used through walls any more. Molds no longer take on the names of dead pets. A french translation of the main manual page is included. Changes made in development version: Extended GNU autoconf support to msys (minimal posix environment for MS-Windows). Generally improved autoconf support so that it is now pretty useable. Hi all, Vulture's Claw 1.9.3 - Slash'Em 0.0.7E7 --------------------- Having waited several eternities for one of the nicest graphical interfaces ever to be updated, I finaly gave up hope :( If you don't know which I mean, I mean Falcon's Eye. ( http://users.tkk.fi/~jtpelto2/nethack.html ) I have forked the project and release a version for Slash'EM with only a couple of bugfixes that were preventing me from playing/testing. Due to a late change and inadequate testing of the UNIX build environment (mea culpa), version 0.0.7E4 will not install on UNIX platforms without a (fairly trivial) tweak. I have decided to release a new version of Slash'EM as a source tarball which fixes the problem although I have no intention of re-releasing those binaries which have already been produced for version 0.0.7E4 since there is no functional change (the src rpms produced for version 0.0.7E4 already include a patch to fix this problem).
