I didn't find a way to fill a bug report or give a feedback, so I'll do it here, in the "get help" forum.
Bug report:
In the route settings, if you delete all the domains and from the last domain remaining, which you can't delete, blank the fields for the domain name and ip address, then click on save, and then browse somewhere else, and then return to the roue settings, you can't add any domain anymore.
The only solution I found was to replace the config file in /var/www with the original one (don' remember the cfg file name, but I'm sure you know it ;-)).
Feedback:
I really like your solution, since it's easy to setup, and also other people can use it besides me, which is a HUGE plus. On the other side, it is a huge blackbox. You just don't know what's going on in the back, which makes it quite difficult do debug, if something goes wrong.
Maybe you could set up a wiki or something, and maybe people would contribute with some documentation, and descriptions of the usual problems.
For example I had to go and read the source code to be sure, that when mails are places in the collect "bad" folder, that the train the spamassassin bayesan filter (it's nowhere stated explicitely).
I also lost a few hours, because postfix caches responses from the mail server it forwards the mail to. At the first try, I didn't change on the exchange server to accept anonymous mails from the scrollout server, so the first mail I tried to send it, got denied with a "client was not authenticated message". I fixed that, and tried for hours to get scrollout to forward the mail to the exchange server, what never worked, because postfix cached the first response. With some documentation, what is going on in the background, what settings the different components use, that all would be a lot easier.
It would be great if there would be a "test"- button. To to test if the collector is able to connect to the imap account and finds the good and bad folder. I had to verify by hand to be sure it is working.
The same for the "Validate recipients in this Active Directory, OpenLDAP, Zimbra or Lotus Domino" setting in routes.
And by the way, I'm absolutely not sure what that setting is supposed to do. It already validates recipients by asking directly the forwarding smtp server without that setting.
Questions
Is there some way to convince it to bounce emails, of which the recipient does not exist? Right now it lands in the collector account.
Since I don't want to setup differenct accunts and stuff, I send all the quarantine e-mails to the collector account. For the quarantine mails, you can choose to block mails above a certain score. I can't find that setting for the collector account. When the quarantine accounts and the collector acount are the same, will it then automatically take the block-score-setting from the quarantine accounts in the "route" settings, to block those mails? Or will the collector account always show all spam mails, also the ones above a certain score? In that case a setting would be nice :-).
Praise
Thanks for your great work, keep on going :-).
