Reports Updated With OSS Bar Code Fonts

R1.1 now includes support for the use of the BarFonts Open Source bar code fonts (http://user.it.uu.se/~jan/barfonts/).

The Code 39 font was an easy one as all it needs is stop and start characters. Unfortunately, Code 39 was not efficient enough and created very large bar codes. We chose to create a Crystal UFL (User Function Library) in order to make use of the Code 128 font. This UFL is included in BarFontsUFL.zip. To install it, copy CRUFLBarFonts.dll into C:\Windows\System32 and register the DLL by going to Start, Run, and enter this into the box:... read more

How To Initialize A SaberNet DCS Database

Unfortunately, there is little documentation currently on running SaberNet DCS (like none ;) ). But this leaves many of you without the ability to run the project, as you don't know how to create the database. So before you try to run the program, as long as your config file set up correctly you can run:

sndcs -I

to create the initial database. We will soon have a sample database to download. For now you will have to create records by hand in the database. We will also soon make the web adminitration website suite available to ease this process. For now, please ask any questions you have and we will be happy to help you.... read more
