I've submitted the patch that adds priorities to 0.8 that made it into 1.0 -- I'm still using my patched 0.8.4. If patching your current installation is an option (it is a fairly local change that doesn't break existing detectors), you can get the patch from sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1413165&group_id=31577&atid=402791 you only need the "patch.priodetectors" patch.
