Hello, here are a few basic questions on running Roundup on IIS. I have very little experience running CGI scripts. Here are the steps I have taken to attempt to install roundup: I created a folder 'Bug_Tracker' under 'C:\Python24\share\roundup\Bug_Tracker'. I ran roundup-admin against it that successfully created the db, detectors and html folders/files. In IIS, I created a 'cgi-bin' folder under 'inetpub\wwwroot\' in which I dropped a copy of roundup.cgi. In it I changed the tracker variable to: TRACKER_HOMES =3D { 'Bug_Tracker': 'C:\Python24\share\roundup\Bug_Tracker\' } Now, is this the correct way of pointing IIS to Bug_Tracker? I tried creating virtual roots to point to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cgi-bin.cgi, or directly to C:\Python24\share\roundup\Bug_Tracker, but without success. The browser keeps stating that the page isn't found. I realize that these are very basic questions and that I could be completely off, but I am stumped and would appreciate some pointers. Thanks, Manuel Amunategui |
