Hi, i found your game and wanted to download it. Unfortunately there are only binary files for the latest release. Since i like to build files from source and cannot access cvs, i cannot use it. Would it be possible to add a source-file to the latest release? Thanks in advance, Christoph |

Bugs item #779957, was opened at 2003-07-30 01:02 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=423953&aid=779957&group_id=38972 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Peter Hunt (peterahunt) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Robotournament 01.24.03 Mac OS X Initial Comment: I get the error below, which you said is a result of the -col problem in a previous bug report, but it does not seem to be to me. I cannot get a start button to appear, and therefore, no game can be started. Second players logging into the server can see the map, the originator(me) cannot, just a black window. Other buttons etc, are there, but no start button, or map. The server status says "Waiting for Start" This error occurs after I hit the Engage button, and spawns a blank error window. Error: bgerror failed to handle background error. Original error: wrong # args: should be "switch ?switches? string {pattern body ... ?default body?}" Error in bgerror: can't make ".__error__" its own master Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Peter Hunt ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=423953&aid=779957&group_id=38972 |

Once loaded, the program would not even start: it turns out that the '-col' argument of the 'grid' statement is invalid on this configuration. a simple batch replace of "-col " with "-column " fixed that. I can now start the server and get into the game, but not yet play. the error given is: " bgerror failed to handle background error. Original error: wrong # args: should be "switch ?switches? string {pattern body ... ?default body?}" Error in bgerror: can't make ".__error__" its own master " being unfamiliar with tcl I am having a difficult time tracing this down, but will keep looking at it in my spare time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=423953&aid=673888&group_id=38972 |

I'd like to make Debian Packages from this game. What do "Wizards of the Coast" say about this game? Do they allow it, or might they sue anybody distributing it? Such copyright problems would be a stopper for the inclusion into debian Linux. :-( Greetings, Erich |

While playing some games recently, I noticed that my weapons weren't firing while my robot was executing a no-op. I hav also noticed this during a weapons acquisition. While I can sort of rationalize this on weapons acquisitions (although, it doesn't seem to documented anywhere.), this really doesn't make any sense for a no-op, which I consider to be just another form of a movement card. Is this a bug or is there a reason behind this? John Guthrie gu...@co... |
