Hi all,
I tested the echo function in RealTerm and I didn't got it working. I did deselect the Open-Button at the Port tab and selected the Echo On and Monitor check-boxes at the Echo Port tab. At the second computer (which is connected by a null-modem cable) I pressed some key and they are printed green colored at the echo computer but NOT at the remote computer. I expected that the characters will be send back to the remote pc? Did someone tested this case?
Kind regards

Hello,
RealTerm is acting funny on my 64bit Windows 7 machine, it seems to force ECHO regardless of check boxes. On a 32 bit Win7 it seems fine, and also Putty 64 bit seems fine. There seems to be a problem just with the 64 bit Win 7 version.
