May I connect the PC to I2C Adapter via TCP/IP, Port 22 directly (like i can do it on the PC via COMx) using Realterm in a SSH connection ? And in case of this, how I have to configure Realterm and the OpenWrt-System for it ?
Hardware:
PC with Windows XP <-> LAN <-> Ausus WL500G Premium with OpenWrt <-> USB <-> PC to I2C Adapter.

I assume that this would also connect to the USB interface.
I have yet to find a standard firmware with SREDIRD for the WRT54 (I have a couple). If you do, please make a note, it would be very useful.
Here is what I did a few years ago, logging on a WRT54 using the I2C2PC adaptor

Realterm should connect via TCP/IP to any port.
I have used the serial port redirector SREDIRD on my linix box at home, and it works nicely.

It may also be possible to use nc, which is in DD-WRT
nc -l -p 1234 </dev/tts/1 >/dev/tts/1
