I wasn't aware I was using html. I just removed windows XP (not worth the 150 bucks I paid for it) and went back to windows 98. At the moment there is no legal foundation to represent the developers. That means that MS would go after individual developers (not a good thing). We should look at forming such an entity for protection. Please don't use html in your email, and never make assumptions about people's color schemes. At first your message looked blank to me because I use white text on a black background, and you had forced the text color to black. As for your question, no, we are not. We should seriously think about transferring ownership of the project to the FSF as they have the resources to put up a legal defence. The program manager is really fubar and I dont have the programming skills to fix it. I'm going to do some code cleanup and sumbit my changes to wine and reactos in the next week. As for Calmira I have no idea about it. I have have seen some great windows shell replacements done in pascal. See http://www.gxexplorer.org/ this is a kickass 32bit shell replacement. Hi! Today I found the bug that broke the use of ordinals in module definition files (.def/.edf files). It is cause by my naive change of the file scanner. I fixed the bug in my local source tree. I hope to release a new binutils version this weekend. And most likely a cross-compiler for Linux will be released as well. Sorry, I tried this but the system still reboots. This is getting a very anoying problem because I can't test the work I have done for reactos (ole32). Has anybody got freeloader, and would that work loading reactos on my system. The thing is I don't know enough assembler to solve the problem on my own. Hoping for a quick solution. So you're saying that 'tutorials' will consist of written books...
but 'references' will be generated from a database? Well that sounds
logical.. so lets just start with the tutorials for now, with user
tutorial, developer tutorial.. I think those are the only two
tutorial books we'll need for now.

Hi, I was experimenting a bit further with loadros, and on an asus dual PII loadros and the kernel work fine (untill they encounter the scsi drive) bur at least i get to see a kernel error message. When I use exactly the same loadros, my system reboots as I told yesterday just after the system goes into protected mode. (before the jmp .next statement in loadros.asm) Has anybody any suggestions on how I could load reactos, or solve loadros. I agree trying to go ahead a certify apps and drviers would be kinda pointless for the most. I'm just suggesting going ahead and layign some procedures in place for testing now so we wont end up wasting time latter. oh sorry about that, I get to typing fast and my english goes to hell. Whats even worse is its my first language =) My sourceforge account is isolation. I cant really program to well, but I can attempt to write (with spell and gramer check) and do some product testing. What I meant to say was can you add 2 tasks. 1. Under apps can you add a win32 notepad. I already have the one from winelib would could use. 2. Under docs can you add Application and Driver compatiblity testing. We will need to develop a Hardware Compatibltiy list, using either the WindowsNT or 2K/XP list. I know we want to be able to use third party drivers, but at the same time we dont want the same problem MS has with drivers that are buggy by thrid partys. Having a HCL and testing standards would help with gaining corporate support once ReactOS is compleated.
