I'm running QuakeSpasm on Debian Linux (wheezy) on an Asus Eee 904 with Intel 945GME integrated video. By and large it works great, but not infrequently it will display annoying video glitching with random solid-color polygons appearing in the upper-left corner of the screen or sharing space with the left half of the status bar. (They always appear above the world/model geometry and flicker when over the statusbar, so I think they share the same depth as the statusbar/overlay.) In a quick test, the issue seems not to happen with the -nomtex option set, but I haven't done extensive testing on this.
I am assuming You are using a release version, possibly v0.85.9, of quakespasm?
There has been several renderer updates in the svn and a 0.90.0 version is soon to be released. Can you please see if the issue is still there in the svn?
New version 0.90.0 is released. If this is still an issue with v0.90.0, please report back.
Haven't heard from the bug reporter. Closing as 'invalid' for now.
