PPCBoot-2.0.0 is available on the CVS and FTP servers.
This "Halloween Release" is the final release;
the code is now frozen.
Development continues in the "U-Boot" project,

Version 2.0.0 is the official final release of the PPCBoot project.
The code is frozen, and will not be developed any more.

All further development will be done under a new name:
"Das U-Boot" - the Universal Boot Loader.

This is mainly a bug fix release.

A new version of PPCBoot, labeled as PPCBOOT_1_2_0, is available on
the CVS and FTP servers.

* The ARMBoot source tree has been merged back into common tree.
PPCBoot now includes support for ARM7, ARM9 and StrongARM processors.
Support for XScale, ColdFire, ... will be added soon.

A new version of PPCBoot, labeled as PPCBOOT_1_1_4, is available on
the CVS and FTP servers.

The most significant modifications are:

* Support for M-Systems Disk-On-Chip
* Support for QNX images
* Sandpoint8240 working

Many bugs and buglets have been fixed, and a lot of extensions has
been added.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

* "hush" works; only one minor know problem: commands stored in an
environment variable must be executed using the "run" command;
simply typing "$variable" will not work as expected. [We're working

the CVS and FTP servers.

The most significant modifications are:

* renamed cpu/mpc74xx to cpu/74xx_7xx with the intention to get a
unified source tree (read: cpu/mpc75x will go away soon, too).
* a couple of new boards were added (DU405, evb64260, gw8260, MUSENKI)

Many bugs and buglets have been fixed, and alot of minor extensions
