No, they're likely considered strings. Did you try casting them to an integer first? -----Original Message----- From: pil...@li... I'm making a calorie counter that uses two databases, one for food items and the other with what items I had on that day. The problem arises when I try to use linked fields in calculations. first database has a [string] and an [integer] description and calories the sceond one has a [date] folowed by a [link] to the string description in the first database and a [linked] to the integer calories I'd like to add a calculated field that accumulates calories for any given day, but I think the scripts don't consider links to integers to actually be integers. The STATUS of Pilot-DB development?!? Good question, very good. I spend a lot of time for the development of Pilot-DB and for a long time i wasn't able to use it for my-self. I gave the leadership to Scott Wallace, and it seems that Scott stoped the development too. Now, i think there will be less and less development. I will try to add the support of new devices but not add new features. I work on Pilot-DB 1.0.5 very slowly, il added the Tungsten Hardkey support and i will add the HiRes support before to release this version. For Desktop applications i will continue to help the others developers, and PERHAPS i will try to add a true conduit for Windows and Linux. Salut, Marc.
