[Phpwiki-talk] SiteMap.php

I've done some changes to SiteMap.php to eleminate a lot of errors and 
warnings. The function preg_match was used wrong so i replaced it by a 
few lines of code and now it works without error. SiteMap is used from 
IncludeSiteMap.php which now works with page names including white space 
etc ...

For your second issue in lib/DbSession/SQL.php:97 try looking near the
bottom of this known bugs page.  A couple others have found and resolved
similar issues.

Warm greeting,

I installed phpwiki-1.3.11p1 in my docroot directory. 
My server is running on NetBSD, Apache 2.0, php 4.4.1
Out of the box (after making changes in config.ini regarding use of mysql),
wiki did not work displaying :

Fatal Error:

lib/Theme.php:1086: Error: pwd: /u2/web/tadek/www/phpwiki/locale

lib/IniConfig.php:711: Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2)

lib/DbSession/SQL.php:97: Notice: Only variables should be assigned by
reference

Fatal PhpWiki Error

lib/Theme.php:1086: Error: pwd: /u2/web/tadek/www/phpwiki/locale

Then I defined PHPWIKI_PATH and error went away, and system works, but on
each page displayed I get the warning:

PHP Warning

lib/DbSession/SQL.php:97: Notice: Only variables should be assigned by
reference

Am I missing something in config.ini?  I would appreciate any hint.  Version
1.2.10 run out-of-box w/o any problems.

Hmm, CVS and 1.3.12_rc2 has that fixed.
  $dbh = $this->_connect();

This would be the old wrong line:
  $dbh =& $this->_connect();

You can "Load & Override" to overcome such conflicts. But better is to
handle all conflicts individually.

The importer looks at the Date header of the page. In the wikidb against
the creation date of the pgsrc, you want to import.
If you changed your pages after I changed the pgsrc pages, they will not
be upgraded.

I've just finished upgrading two wiki sites from 1.2.x to 1.3.12_rc1. (one
windows, one gentoo)
The upgrade went quite well but there is a new behaviour during the load
process that deviates from the old proceedure.

During the upload, the message will sometimes say "merge conflict" and not
load the new page. This means two things

1) the "base" wiki pages like home page and admin pages no longer need to b=
e
"fixed up" as stated in the 1.2.x section of the UPGRADING file

2) if you do a dump (all revisions) instead of a snapshot (latest revision
only) then it seems to take an older version of your pages and then NOT loa=
d
the newer version of your page.   So I think either there is a bug, or this
is a new behaviour and the upgrading instructions should be updated.

If someone can tell me that this is not a bug and is intended, then I will
offer to update the 1.2.x section of the UPGRADING file and submit a patch
since both of my upgrades are working fine now and my proceedure could be
documented for others.

Reini,
  Nothing in part 5 of the config file is uncommented.  So whatever is the
default value for INLINE_IMAGES is what is set.  I'll try setting that and

Which phpwiki version and which php version do you want to use?

php-5.0 is supported since phpwiki-1.3.11 and phpwiki-1.2.10
for php-5.1 at least phpwiki-1.3.12_rc1 is required.

would like to implement php 5, but the box it is replacing (my wiki site) is
running php 4 and I dont think it will run.

Ditto on a windows box, and also on loading up virgin wiki I see this

sorry, I don't know the connection between "Sessions" and the problem 
I reported.

Just to avoid any possible misunderstanding: I'm writing about the 
problem that "as soon as I store preferences, I can't [...] sign in 
as this user anymore" using ENABLE_USER_NEW = true andf gdbm or db4.

And AllUsers doesn't show user with preferences but without homepage.

I suspect an error with the user preferences database which is not 
accessible when using gdbm or db4.

I didn't branch away from CVS Head yet.
The changes are entirely backports from cvs to 1.3.11.
So you'll have to get the tar.bz2.

CVS Head still has problems  with relation links.

I didn't branch away from CVS Head yet.
The changes are entirely backports from cvs to 1.3.11.
So you'll have to get the tar.bz2.

CVS Head still has problems  with relation links.

Sessions are fragile. On any theme error or missing server vars it will bre=
ak.

1.3.12_rc1 sessions were tested ok for 4.3.x and 5.0.x, but there are remai=
ning
problems for 5.1.x with register_long_arrays off.

  I'm trying to run down a problem with ziphtml that crashes IIS on the cvs
head at the moment, and was hoping some of your changes might fix that :-)

So far I only found one issue with rc1:
* ImageTile.php was missing (for PhotoAlbum)

5.0.3 works fine. Maybe it's just 5.1 which causes problems.
