Try it now. You only had one Poll in on the development server.
From your development server:
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already
sent by (output started at inc.d/header.inc:5) in
inc.d/common.inc.php on line 577

currently, this cannot be done through the layout manager. instead you
need to edit inc.d/header.inc
and add something like "font-size: 10pt" to the stylesheets.
example:
.MainHeadFgColor {
color: <?php echo $LAYOUT["MainHeadFgColor"]; ?>;
font-family: <?php echo $LAYOUT["FontFamily"]; ?>;
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 10pt;
}
-- hope this helps..

Which block? Which version. The fix all way would be to edit header.inc Find the class you want to change in CSS style: font-size: XXpt ; -----Original Message----- From: php...@li... To make upgrading a bit easier. The Variable will be used to point to a user directory outside of the phpWeblog tree. Here you will keep your images, include blocks etc.. |

> D: "error: non-matching tags. the penalty is [blink] DEATH! > Please report to the nearest disintegration chamber immediately, > or you may self-terminate using the nearest loaded point and > click device." oops, I didn't close that [/blink], did I? this is my favorite and must be implemented. and to add to it ... perhaps a super duper word filter is to be created, a really run one. editing out words like "fuck" and "shit" are one thing but having them for html tags, sentances, secret handshakes ... this would rule and must / will be done. > Seriously, my main concern was fairly selfish -- whether you had > a function that did this that I could use -- and then as I > thought about it I realized how simple it was to write it... and > thought, hell, I'll share. Well, if the tags don't match in a new article, the choices are: A: do nothing. This is easy, you don't even need my code :-) Probably not the best choice, though. B: tell the author what tags he needs to fix. In some cases, like nonmatching [table, /table], you will need to tell him instead of letting him preview -- because the preview won't render! C: annoying add the tags to the end of the article, and warn the user in preview to fix it. D: "error: non-matching tags. the penalty is [blink] DEATH! Please report to the nearest disintegration chamber immediately, or you may self-terminate using the nearest loaded point and click device." oops, I didn't close that [/blink], did I? Seriously, my main concern was fairly selfish -- whether you had a function that did this that I could use -- and then as I thought about it I realized how simple it was to write it... and thought, hell, I'll share. Let me know if it is useful. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number - Free Free voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag |

Just curious --
do you have code written for balancing HTML tags?
Like, matching the b's in a submission with the /b's.
Or, more importantly, matching table with /table --
since things like a missing /table will prevent rendering
a whole page. Generally, you can't rely on the users to balance
tags in an article -- they may be new to HTML, or may be
mailcious. Usually the former, probably.
Maybe something like this
function tag_imbalance($tag,$htmlarticle) {
// counts <$tag> and subtracts count of </$tag>
// does \< need to be escaped \ or not? can't remember
// \/ certainly needs the \ escape
$match = "/\<".$tag."/";
$antimatch = "/\<\/".$tag."/"; // what goes up must come down?
$cmatch = count(preg_split($match,$htmlarticle));
$canti = count(preg_split($antimatch,$htmlarticle));
return($cmatch-$canti);
}
Or do you think 'its just not a problem?

nothing like writing perl or php code for about three hours escaping all of the quotations in your code, with the \ backslash, and then when you go back to simple html code and you close a tag like this <\b> and you look at it for a while and then, ask yourself, "that doesn't look right," so then you close it like </b> and then wonder which one is right for about five minutes. That's me. Sorry. >.. looks confused. >I can't find any <tbody> tags, nor any overlapping <body> tags. Hi, thanx to jason for his help! Now it runs perfectly! I have some questions: - How can I change the timedisplay: Now it is 12 hours american style. We´re in europe use 24 hour clocks. Example: Your time: 10:54:41 PM Our time: 22:54:41 - Why can I not set the background colors of the left column and the right column. This would be more interesting because only the background color looks a little simple... - Why not centering the complete page and adjust the width to 650 pixel and so on... The design would become a complete change and all phpweblog portals would not look the same cu stefan |

Hi, I had a problem with HTTP_POST_VARS and HTTP_COOKIE_VARS that they weren't filled. Was using SuSe Linux 6.2 with Apache and PHP3. After a day I found the problem (yesterday), a php var called track_vars was off. I included in /etc/htppd/httpd.conf the following line: php3_track_vars on After a restart off Apache everything worked like a charm. Hopes this helps for someone else. Hans I had a problem that HTTP_COOKIE_VARS wasn't filled. There is a problem with submit.php in which someone can affect the database if submit.php is called with certain arguments in the URL. As a preventative, I've added a check at the top to check for $HTTP_POST_VARS. If it is empty, redirect back to main page with an error. All calls to submit.php are passed via POST, so the logic here seems good. The concern here is whether $HTTP_POST_VARS is safe to use across all php versions, etc. Jason |
