First I want to answer first your question about GetPolerioRoot() function. 
I want to ask first, what kind of system are you using, is it linux, unix or 
windows. It is because your system didn't interpret the GetPolerioRoot() 
function well. Basically, this function only gets the document root of the 
server. try to get make a this code $myroot=getenv('DOCUMENT_ROOT'); 
$polerioroot= $myroot.'/modules/PhpMyLibrary/polerio';

or perhaps try to phpinfo() your system to get your document root. document 
root is where you put your htdocs. ex. 1. /var/ww/html 2. 
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs your system perhaps use either of this 
directory, then make it $myroot='/var/ww/html'; $polerioroot= 
$myroot.'/modules/PhpMyLibrary/polerio';

if this still doesn't work try to open the php.ini of your system and 
uncomment the _error_all i think, just a parameter that will deactivate full 
error checking. it is because it will produce errors even if this is only a 
minor error.

About ISIS files. Currently, I am working on it. As you can see in the 
phpmylibrary-1.0.4a you can import MARC data from librarty of congress now I 
am making a script that will make you import ISIS .iso files. This will 
reduce the encoding of already existing data. It will be included in the 
next release. Don't use the phpmylibrary-1.0.3 as this would not make you 
flexible from all new version because I recoded the whole program in 
phpmylibary-1.0.4a. just try to wait because the circulation module, 
transaction modules, will be available soon.

This is what I get from phpmylibrary.sourceforge.net mysql administration. I 
am using phpmyadmin 2.2.6-rc1 and currently using the MySQL version 3.23.36. 
I am using a php-4.06 version of php.

your error said:

ERROR 1121 at line 17: Column 'anyid' is used with UNIQUE or INDEX but is
not defined as NOT NULL

This means that the index tables column anyid is null and that mysql want it 
to be not null.

To repair the error do try to rewrite null to not null on all index tables. 
the index tables are tge tblanyindex, tblauthorindex, tbltitleindex, etc.

Now if you don't want to rewrite the correction just dowload the mysql 
version 3.23.36 which is similar on what I am using in 
phpmylibrary.sourceforge.net/html.

Below are the recode of the phpmylibrary script. Please do try to send me 
the mysql version you are using so that we could warn other phpmylibrary 
user who use the mysql with similar version as yours.

make phpmylibrary multilanguage and your dutch language will be the first 
translation I can get. Please be free to send it to me and I will post it in 
phpmylibrary website with your name as the translator. More libraries are 
using the phpmylibrary and your translation would surely benefit dutch user.

postnuke as a module. You should install it in your post-nuke site and not

Thank you also for your support. I hope libraries in the future would not 
buy expensive software just to automate their library. This is a necessity 
that should be given free to libraries which is valuable to different 
individual around the world. Knowledge depends on what the library or 
information center can give. If you would suppress it, this only means that 
you also suppress one individual potential towards his/her greatness. I can 
make myself as one of the example( Though I'm not great but at least I 
exerted my potential). If I didn't get enough resources on self-studying 
php/mysql programming I wouldn't be able to generate helpful software like 
this. I depended much on the internet, the number one information resource. 
Without this I think you can always find me in shopping center walking 
around without any business at all but happenings or in any computer rentals 
playing counter strike.

If the importing still don't work, pls do email me operating system you are 
using,. php vertsion, apache, etc..
Apparently, I've installed/tested  the software on our computer at pentium 
iii with windows xp (with 10,000 marc records) and also on redhat linux 7.2 
gnome/kde  (with 500 records) it was installed on an intranet. On an 
internet I've installed the software on my demo site. at 
phpmylibrary.sourceforge.net/html, with I think 500 MARC record entries 
searchable to the net.

If the importing still don't work, pls do email me operating system you are 
using,. php vertsion, apache, etc..
Apparently, I've installed/tested  the software on our computer at pentium 
iii with windows xp (with 10,000 marc records) and also on redhat linux 7.2 
gnome/kde  (with 500 records) it was installed on an intranet. On an 
internet I've installed the software on my demo site. at 
phpmylibrary.sourceforge.net/html, with I think 500 MARC record entries 
searchable to the net.

Greetings,

As of now I am not getting into that limitation of users because I haven't 
use Session function yet. Session function holds the info of distinct user 
who are searching the database and if detected that this distinct users has 
been out for   a minute for instance, the software will ask the user to 
re-search again the term or keywords the user used.

As of now I'm not doing any Session coding yet in the software because I 
wanna finish first it's basic function. If you would want you could test the 
software, connect as often as you want simultaneously and test if the server 
could still handle it. And if you see a problem with the results then I hope 
you will send me what was the problem so that I will recode the problem to 
overcome those problem.

[Phpmylibrary-users] Important Message for Conectiva users...

Hi Polerio,

I arrived the conclusion that phpmylibrary does
not work with Conectiva Linux 7.0, therefore the
reason is that the MySQL of the Conectiva distribution
is installed via RPM, and I made a test in the Red Hat and gave to
everything ok, with tar.gz was installed and work succesfully.

Why??
it must be some problem of the version or type(RPM / tar.gz),
with install of MySQL??

Firstly, login in admin mode. do select the admin link on the menu and then 
encode the password, in case you didn't change it in your database, you have 
a default password of admin and username admin,

after you've done this, you will be redirected in admi n menu, the admin meu 
consists of cataloging, transaction, etc. click cataloging, then you will be 
given a statistics, from the statistics, you would see the book, maps, 
serials, etc. links. then click on books, this links were colored red, at 
the left side of the graphs,after that you will see the add book link. in 
color red also.

I am currently working on version 1.0.4 of the phpmylibrary project. I hope 
I would be able to finish it soon. About the circulation module,
that module makes you add, delete, etc. users. After that when they(user) 
log-in they will be able to just click the accession number you provided in 
the cataloging module. Once they clikced that, they already borrowed the 
book and then, the librarian will then counter checked it in transaction 
module. the transaction module makes you check-in and check out, renew, deny 
  the book,

I am hoping that in version 1.0.4, I could make it more user friendly.

Also, I would like to make some favor to you. If I already released the 
version 1.0.4 I would be glad if you could make scripts that will enable 
version 1.0.3 user upgrade their database on version 1.0.4. I think that 
would not be difficult for you because you already know how we extracted the 
isis files. I know I could do that but I have so many scripts to code in 
version 1.0.4.

About this ^ sign, it has been used because most records, or data do not use 
that sign frequently, you can use other sign/sysmbol provided  that it is 
distinct, perhaps you could use $ sign, if your records do not use dollar 
sign while encoding. this ^ or $ are use for extracting data. If you have 
two words that has ^ between them, the you would find to separate word if 
you will extract it. like polerio^hbabao, if you will explode it in php, you 
would have two, the polerio and hbabao, now if you will use (, comma) 
sysmbol, what if you have a words like babao, polerio,thewordismyname  if 
you would explode it with php, you would get three words. now if you want to 
change it, choose a sysmbol which is distinct.

On the source codes  that I had given to you, you would see how I extracted 
the records that has ##, $, etc...

About the button to click, we know that one book can have a multiple copy, 
which in turn gives multiple accession number. With this in mind while 
programming, I have made the borrowing of book by the user be done on just 
clicking the accession number. Now, if you don't provide the accession 
number of that book, user will not be able to borrow the books becuase it 
doesn't have a accession number.

Greetings,

First of all I would be glad if you would send me your webpage address so 
that I will know the location of your library.

About the borrowing of books, you should put an accession number on the 
bibliographic information you had encoded.

Steps:

1. Encode the bibliographic information ( this is the call number, title, 
author, etc.)

2. At the top corner you would find a blank fields, named Accession Numbers. 
It is there you would encode the accession number of your books. After you 
had encoded the accession number then when you search the books, the 
accession number will be visible and with that user can just click that 
accession number to reserve the book for checkout which will then be 
approved by the librarian.
