I'm afraid not. :o( A little hint how it will work: Send the client a cookie with the surv= ey_id and IP directly before the thankyou function w= ill be called. Search the voting client "username" within the "respons= e" table and compare it with the actual "survey_id". It's so easy to modify this framework, when you've read the handler-sou= rces twice, an you understood how all together works ;o) Cheers Martin "homerlex" <ph...@ho...>@lists.sourceforge.net on 25.= 06.2002 16:16:41 Gesendet von: php...@li... No there is not. Could you please enter this on the SourceForge site either in the "feature requests" or "bugs" section (whichever you think more applicable). That makes it much easier to track and assign tasks. What is "openSA1.1" or was that a typo? -James On Sat, 22 Jun 2002, Dan McFall wrote: > running Apache openSA1.1 on WinMe test server > PHP4.2.1 > MySql > PHPESP1.4 > > > Is there a way to force the survey to display all choices in a radio button > type question's results? running Apache openSA1.1 on WinMe test server PHP4.2.1 MySql PHPESP1.4 Is there a way to force the survey to display all choices in a radio button type question's results? If 100% of the respondents choose choice1, the results show only choice1 Question choice1 100% Total 100% they should show Question choice1 100% choice2 0% choice3 0% choice4 0% choice5 0% Total 100% It is a lot more informative if the viewer can see the answers that were not chosen in relation to the one(s) that were chosen. Hi I am using 1.4 (final version) and set up a survey with a Numerical field. The data is posted to the table response_text but in so doing it adds an extra '1' at the end. Has anyone else come across this? Cheers Nick Ananin |

Hi to the group... Is there a way to pass a value from the URL header to fill in a survey field? I want to have a survey designed around a specific trouble ticket. I can pass the ticket number as part of the survey URL header but don't know if I can grab this and insert it in one of the survey fields. Suggestions or ideas? Joe |

Hi I just figured out that setting length and precision only works if you use Rate (i..n) but does not work if you using the simpler Rating - is it supposed to or am I doing it wrong BTW thanks for an excellent programme. I have fitted it into a PHP portal (myPHPNuke) and it works a treat but some minor problems if you try to include the survey, results and introduction on one PHP page. Other features I have used is to insert the users id from the portal so that they don't need to register separately for the survey. Currently working on a pairwise comparison (a bit similar to AHP) for evaluating weights when comparing several factors but not sure if I can get it to work inside phpESP. Cheers Nick Ananin |

Yes, you just need to set the length to 4, setting the precision enables or disables the "NA" column. If you enable the "Group Editor" permission for your designer user account, they will be able to "Activate" a survey. I don't think this is the intended behavior. After playing with this, it looks like the permission system may have an issue or two. I'll file a bug report on this and do some more digging. Subject: [phpesp-general] Designers Activating Surveys Hello, I've recently installed phpESP v1.4 on a Redhat 7.3 system. Everything is running well. This is good software! Here's my issue: I've created a new group and added a designer to that group. The designer has access to design, change status, and export data for lists in that group. I want the designer to be able to activate the surveys he creates (I assumed "Change Status" would give that ability), however he only seems to have the ability to test the survey. Activation is still only allowed by the superuser. Is this the intended behavior? If so, is there any way to allow designers to activate polls created within their own group, or least activate polls they themselves create? I'd like the option to take this little bit of administration out of the hands of the superuser. Thanks for any ideas!
