I've set up a survey and made it private, all that woorks really fine. 
However, the limitation set through the MAX LOGIN=1 doesn't seem to 
work. People can indeed go back and take the survey as many times as 
they want. Could I have overlooked something to limit to a signle 
submission ?

[phpesp-general] UTF-8 and htmlspecialchars

Hello List,

i have problems with the htmlspecialchars-Coding of Form-Fields and Input in
UTF-8. I want to create a chinese survey and enter text in Chinese, it is
correctly created into UTF-8-Codes.
But it will be displayed then in the Survey as e.g. 京 and this is
because of htmlspecialchars, which changes the correct UTF-8-Code into
&#20140.
Is there a way to change this behaviour. Would would happen if i uncomment
each htmlspecialchars i can find in the sourcecode?

[phpesp-general] Still problems with private surveys

I still cant use private surveys. After I tried it local with XAMPP I now
used the latest phpESP version with my webspace.
I made a very small private survey and put these lines into a php file:

[phpesp-general] multiple radio selections per question?

If this is covered in the documentation, sorry I overlooked it. Please
point me to it.

I am helping with a survey that is using phpESP. (I didn't install or
configure it.)

The survey includes 200 statements that each have three questions to
cover.

Is it possible with phpESP to have one phpESP question have multiple radio
lists?

For example (in HTML):

Actually it's my fault.  I did a nono with the form login code.  The
rest of phpESP is "register_global = off" compliant.  By tomorrow I'll
fix the offending code.

It is a security issue, but i wouldn't necessarily call it a bug.

You would basically need to recode bits of peices of every part of the 
app to make it work with register globals being off.

Thanks!  The register_globlas flag did the trick (long arrays aren't
implemented until PHP 5 and I'm not there yet).

That's probably a bug in the development release.  I just release
1.7.5-dev2 that has a fix for a login problem that could be it.

Thanks for answering! But sadly it didnt help. I already had the new 1.32
version of the "handler.php" file. So I still have the Problem mentioned
before. Any other Ideas?

[phpesp-general] cannot create study

Hi,

I tried installing phpesp (great idea, and I'd love to be able to use 
it), but after disabling the autentification (it didn't want to work 
properly) I still can't have phpesp let me create a new experiment. 
Eventhough I'm now able to connect to the administrator interface, no 
change I insert in the create study phase will be taken into account. 
Moreover, I have these messages that precede (the first 3) and follow 
(the last 2) the administration interface:

PS: When I use the test.php page, The session number never increments, 
no matter how many times I refresh the page. Is it related to the problem ?

I got a problem with private surveys. I made a group for respondent =
accounts and created 2 accounts. When I add the "handler-prefix.php" =
line before the "handler.php" line in my php file i got the error:is
