Why did you disable the Tray Icon in Gnome3/Unity? It was working good :(
Not having a Tray Icon is a huge drawback
Apart from that, I take the opportunity to thank you for your hard work on PAC ;)
No, I did not remove it.
Ijn Gnome 3, I simply don't know how to make it show (if it did by default, please, tell me, because in my tests with Gnome Shell, I just couldn't see it anywhere).
On unity, i should work flawlessly (simply install the suggested "libgtk2-appindicator-perl" library)
Hi David, installed the libgtk2-appindicator-perl package but still no tray icon. did the dconf to ['all'] but no luck.
No worries :) This might just be my computer. I'll figure it out.
If you're on Gnome-Shell, I think there's not much I can do about it... :(
If you're on Unity, and Tray icon still does not appear (despite you installed the '' library, than you may need to go to "Preferences" and check out the status of "Tray icon" (it may simply be disabled).
The same applies to Gnome2 (check out the status of "Tray icon" option under "Preferences").
