Category: Interface Group: 2.5 >Status: Pending Resolution: Works For Me Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Thomas (thw99) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Input focus not set properly when adding glossary entry Initial Comment: When opening the "Create Glossary Entry" dialog, the input focus is not set to the first input field (source term). Therefore the user is required to use the mouse to create a glossary entry. This slows down the workflow of adding glossary entries. The application should set the focus to the first input field automatically in the "Create Glossary Entry" dialog. OmegaT 2.5.4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Didier Briel (didierbr) Date: 2012-05-23 05:22 Message: The way the dialog is designed, you don't need to set the focus at all: You select the source term you want to add, then you press Ctlr+Shift+G, and that text is inserted automatically in the first field in the dialog. Fhen you select the target term, you press Ctrl+Shift+G again, and the target term is inserted automatically in the dialog again. Finally, you can do the same thing for the description, but it is usually typed. If you want to type all the texts manually (including the first term), after having opened the dialog, just press a single time on the Tab key. No mouse click is required.
