Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Samuel Murray (leuce) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Respect spacing before and after comments in HTML Initial Comment: Problem: At the moment, if the HTML file looks like this: [12 spaces]<td>12345</td>[hardreturn] [12 spaces]<!-- <td>The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains.</td> -->[hardreturn] [12 spaces]<td>The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains.</td>[hardreturn] Then OmegaT will change it to this: [12 spaces]<td>12345</td><!-- <td>The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains.</td> -->[hardreturn] [13 spaces][hardreturn] [12 spaces]<td>The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plains.</td>[hardreturn] It would appear that OmegaT believes that the comment should hug the preceding tag directly, and retains all the intermediate spaces. Can OmegaT be change to respect the positioning and/or the spacing before and after the comment? Or if not, where should this RFE be sent to? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=520350&aid=3096745&group_id=68187 |
