It'd be nice if OmegaT had a shortlist of previously
opened projects. Either in the Project menu, or in the
open dialog.

Yes!!!! A "Recent projects" option with 5 (or preferably
10) last opened projects.

The nr. of projects remembered could be made configurable.

And it would be nice too if the shortlist allowed for selection and opening of a

Implemented in SVN (/trunk).

In the Project menu, Open Recent Project will display a list of the 5 most recent projects. Clicking on one will save the current project, close it and open the other project.
