Orphan segments (segments not contained in the
project's source files) should not be included in the
exported TMX file by default. Ideally, an option should
be provided in a new compilation dialog by which the
user can choose whether or not to include orphan
segments in the exported TMX file.
Orphan strings should be retained in the internal
project_save.tmx file.

Is it enough for the 1.6.0 release if orphans are ommitted
from the "exported" TMX files? Any options and dialogs will
be saved for a later version.

Orphans are no longer written to <project>-omt.tmx and
<project>-level1.tmx, but still to project_save.tmx.
A TM export dialog will be saved for a later version.
Can the priority be lowered?

Closing, because this feature is implemented in OmegaT version
1.6.0 RC7 just released.

I don't know if that is related to this RFE but I just found that orphan strings are not displayed in search. They are in project_save.tmx but won't be found if searched. If that is not connected, then I file a big bug.
