#1320 Cannot open an important ongoing project on OmegaT

each time I try to open an on-going project I have this message :
java.xml.bind.UnmarshalException

• with linked exception :
  [org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; LineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Contenu non autorisé dans le prologue.]
  I am loosing more than a mont of work !
  Please HELP !

You are most probably not losing anything. Help requests are better sent to the user group where more people can reply.

What you should do is:

1) close the project
2) with OmegaT, create a new project
3) close that project when it is created
4) put the contents of the old project /source folder into the new project /source folder
5) put the project_save.tmx of the old project /omegat folder into the new project /omegat folder
6) open the new project in OmegaT
7) if you see the same error or if you see that a lot of your work is missing do the following:
8) close the project
9) remove the project_save.tmx file from the new /omegat
10) go to the old project and find the biggest project_save.tmx...bak (there should be a date in place of ....)
11) move that file to the new /omegat and rename it project_save.tmx
12) open the project

If you still have problems, send a message to the list with more details. There may be a problem with the source file, in which case you just need to replace it with a new copy of the original.
