Even though OmegaT does read the text from special fields in Microsoft Word files, it does not insert the translation. Here is the project with an example: https://yadi.sk/d/A5mzufa7tH4e6
That's because what you see in OmegaT is only a fallback text. What you see in Word comes from docProps/core.xml, in <dc:title>, <dc:subject> and <dc:creator>.
Currently, OmegaT does not read that information.

I reopen, because it's simpler to add the possibility to translate Word document properties than numbering labels.

Fixed in SVN (/trunk).
A new option in the Open XML filter allows to translate Word document properties.
It is off by default.
