#35 Access violation at address XXX in module 'MKVExtractGUI2.exe

Hi, I got an error using the combo MKVToolNix 21 and MKVExtractGUI 2.4. The error is "Access violation at address XXX in module 'MKVExtractGUI2.exe'
After go back to MKVToolNix 19 and MKVExtractGUI 2.3 it's works perfectly.

I think it's related to mkvinfo because after I close the error window MKVExtractGUI shows "executing mkvinfo" into its status bar. Could it be related to a recent change into MKVTN (last version was released the 24th February ?

I have the same problem... after updating to MKVToolNix 20 and MKVExtractGUI 2.3 this problem arose. Same occurs with MKVToolNix 21 and MKVExtractGUI 2.4.

Error upon drag and drop mkv files into MKVExtract:
Access violation at address 0040B268 in module 'MKVExtractGUI2.exe' Read of address 0C020E08.

Why is this problem still not fixed?

Back to MKVToolnix 20 and works again with MKVExtractGUI 2.4

Got it solved! Here are the steps:

1. Uninstall MKVExtractGUI2.exe
2. Download InviskaMKVExtract
3. Install it
4. Go to church & thank the Lord that there still exist competent programmers :-)

You can also use gMKVExtractGUI. It works for me, even with latest mkvtoolnix releases.

Agreed this is a current bug as of 1/3/2018 - I used http://e.informer.com/inviska.com/ and it worked GREAT!
