I am lost as to just how to install the 64 bit windows Fortran compiler on my Windows 7 box. Seems I need a PhD in computer science to understand all the directions. Please, anyone, and in real English, show me just how to even get a command line compile option going on my PC

Please read <http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mingw-w64/wiki/download%20filename%20structure> for help on choosing the correct package, it is in simple English.

Once you've chosen the package for your platform and installed them, read the GCC manual at <http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/> BEFORE operating the compiler.
