+1 to Victor's question. Also: Is the dumpfile literally 0 bytes long, or does it contain some garbage text / error messages? When you say "Mifos"... you mean Mifos X, right? Can you share why you're dumping the db? Is this for a routine backup, are you trying to upgrade to 24.12, or something else? Are you planning to upgrade to 24.12? Finally, you might have better luck going directly to MariaDB or MySQL companies/communities for support with this particular issue. Hi,
If you use the parameter like startDateSelect then use the '${startDate}'
where you need the input to go
Similarly If you use the parameter like endDateSelect then use the
'${endDate}' where you need the input to go
For example from the above example you shared you can use
WHERE
l.disbursedon_date <=*'${endDate}' *
AND l.loan_status_id = 300
ORDER BY
l.disbursedon_date DESC
and use the parameter *endDateSelect *to enter the date in the reporting
section
Similarly you have to do it on all places where you need the input values
to be used in the report.

Hi, I have installed Mifos 23.12 with succes, but I have tried to install the pentahoReports for the second time now, but every time after the pentaho installation I am getting login errors. I can't upload the log file because after the installation, the logfile increases beyond 5MB. Has anybody experienced this problem and/ or has a solution? Hi Ortwin. It is always possible to restore a copy of the database stored in the old laptop. There are some technical considerations, but overall, you should only create a backup in the older computer and restore it in the new one. Here <https://kb.bytehouse.co.uk/content/13/299/en/how-to-backup-&-restore-mysql-using-heidisql.html> you can read how to do it using HeidiSQL. If you used other database manager PostgreSQL, then you can find online tutorials. Bear in mind that there are two databases involved. These are the ones you create while deploying Mifos. You don't necessarily need to backup both of them (only the one containing your data) but this depends on your setup.. Best regards, Fernando. Hello, "Mifos X" is the name of the distribution. The number after "Mifos X" is the release number - "year" - "month" . That is what I thought, but the server flickers and I don't see a start up. But I can log in in Mifos which I find very strange. First time the server takes longer to start because it creates and populates the initial db schema and data. Any other startup should take less time. Also make sure to a proper hardware sizing.
