Hi Everyone,

On upgrade to 25.12 facing the below error.
The parameter allowPartialPeriodInterestCalcualtion is not supported.

Is there a workaround for this ? On the lower version 25.3 similar error
persisted during loan creation for a different parameter.
I am currently stuck to use this as production, any help or guidance is
greatly appreciated.

260217 with Apache Fineract 1.14. I have attached a screenshot for your
reference.

*Mifos Suite of Products Continues to Evolve*
Throughout 2025, we made siginificant progress across our entire suite of
products and projects to advance the last-mile delivery of financial
servcies to the poor.

   - For Mifos X, we were re-certified as a DPG, launched the brand new
   progressive loan module supported by the Pepper Soup project, launched the
   next generation of our web app, made progress on a new more modular
   architecture and delivered a number of new modules for decisioning and
   origination.
   - For PH-EE we continue to improve its performance and deployability,
   strengthen DPI use cases for G2P and P2G, and are gradually making it more
   modular with lighter weight workflow integration.
   - Mifos Gazelle made tremendous strides with support for ARM
   architectures, improved resource consumption support for more DPGs and a
   much more streamlined user experience with a graphical user interface and
   configurable demo profiles.
   - Last but not least, we have streamlined the development of our suite
   of staff and customer-facing mobile apps, all built on the Kotlin
   Multi-Platform framework, consuming auto-generated KMP clients, using
   consistent UI from our common UI library with automated builds and releases
   to the respective app stores.

[Mifos-users] Question related to Zulu performance in Windows Server.

Hi team! Hope you are doing great. I wanted to ask for your help or
insights regarding a performance issue with Fineract and Mifos X. I have
two different Windows Server 2019 machines (Intel Xeon E5-2686 v4 @ 2.30
GHz and 16 GB RAM) running Mifos X version 24 along with Fineract 1.10. I’m
using Apache Tomcat as the application server.

Everything works fine most of the time, but we are experiencing a strange
behavior: after a fresh restart of the server and Apache Tomcat,
performance gradually starts degrading. After two or three days, Zulu
begins consuming system resources uncontrollably, and the server eventually
becomes unusable:

Eventually, when you try to access any option in Mifos you get an error.

If I restart the server and start Apache Tomcat again, Mifos works again
normally. So it looks like it's something related to Zulu / Java. I have
tried to set the memory for java both from a "setenv.bat" file and from the
apache tomcat 10.1 properties also, but no success.

The behavior continues with Zulu eating all resources. I tried switching to
Java instead, and the behavior is the same in both servers.

Do you have any ideas on how to handle this? I have attached the logs. Any
help would be appreciated.

I need your support on a failed login.
I recently installed mifos 25.03.22 on Windows 11 Home x86_64 using
Apache Tomcat 10.1, Java JDK Zulu version 17 LTS and MariaDB 11.3.

I followed through with the installation guide but when I try logging in I
get the following error.

Http failure response for
http://localhost:8080/fineract-provider/api/v1/authentication: 404 OK"

down payments, multiple disbursements and single and multi-installment
repayment cycles include:

   - Enhanced support for multiple disbursals and downpayments
   - Fully configurable payment application logic down to the transaction
   type
   - Horizontal and Vertical Loan Processing
   - Cumulative and Progressive Loan Schedules

I’d like your support with the following:
  We are looking to enable an *early settlement feature* for loans.
Currently, in Mifos, it is possible to make loan payments before the due
date either partial or full however, we are facing an issue where it seems
we cannot apply a charge specifically for an early settlement event.
  Could you please confirm whether this functionality (applying a charge on
early settlement) is indeed missing? If it is available, I’d appreciate
your guidance on how to locate it in the code or apply it via the UI for
both advance payments and full early settlements.

Hello Mifos Community,

To find the Mifos X Amazon Machine Image (AMI), open the AWS Management
Console, navigate to the EC2 dashboard, and then go to Images > AMIs in the
left-hand menu > Community AMIs You can filter and search for AMIs by ID (
ami-069b9ff8964b6a46c)

*Here's a step-by-step guide:*

1. Log in to the AWS Management Console: and go to the EC2 service.
2. In the left-hand navigation pane, find the Images section and click on
AMIs.
3. Use the filters at the top of the AMI list to narrow your search using
the ID ami-069b9ff8964b6a46c
4. Make sure you are using the tab "Community AMIs"

Once you find the Mifos X Platform 25.03, you can then select it from the
list when launching an EC2 instance.

As a reminder it is not intended for production unless you implement
minimal security.
