i dont know where to get outside germany.. www.redbull.com ? its a guarna

mkfs.ext3 /dev/brain 

The entire installation programm (its written in python) will be loaded in 
a 16MB Ramdisk (with X, netutils, kernelmoduls.. all stuff neded) and 
mounted to /.. so you can change cds during install without killing the 
installation (every distri uses this). After select (partioning, init) the 
installationtarget it will be mounted under /mnt/target so you can change 
cds.. and load alternate rpm packages.

Jolt is my favourite, as me and a friend bought a case of 24 cans of it
and watched movies all night a few years ago...although I am so used to
the caffine it doesn't keep me awake anymore.  Red Bull, don't know
that one...where can you get it because I live in Canada?

Is an answer to my question, but can you please explain it more...I'm
tired as I didn't get a good nights sleep; so I am in my brain doesn't

Just wondering, what is your caffinated drink of choice, because you're
always mentioning caffine?!  :)

I'll have to get someone with a fast connection and a burner to
download and burn me a copy of the ISO when you're both done with the
initial version.  Also, I just wanted to note, that the download
version of RH7.3 can fit on two CDs, do you think that is possible to
do with our distro eventually or is it possible to do it now;
eventually will probably have to add more ISOs for extra stuff.

We are 7 Programmers, all with specials :) Networking, Systemprogramming 
(myself), reverse enginering, web-applications, analytics and 
implemenations and much more skills. Currently only 2 people working on 
the interface (Christian Volmering and i).

Well, there are a bunch of Desktops that we could include besides KDE &
GNOME.  Also, we should decide if we really want GeekLog to be used for
the whole web site or just as a place to post news and updates.  We may
also want to get BugZilla installed locally, if we decide to use it.=20
And, before I forget, even though Kelledin has written a basic roadmap
sort of, we need to decide how we are going to plan it out in a bit
more detail, and put it up on the web site.  And, I sent the help
wanted ad to Linux Format, hopefully it'll be included in a future
issue of the magazine.

really gotten a version; although I'd say lets use V0.1 or some such
numbering scheme.  Any other ideas from people.  Also, would it be
possible to add a theme to KDE without having to -- I would like to
include the cool Liquid theme (http://www.kde-look.org/) with that
desktop; although we should have a way of choosing which desktop or
whatever upon the login screen.

Ah well...sorry 'bout that.  I should have described the layout a=20

i486 packages are what we should use; LSB-IA32 requires that all=20
architecture-specific packages should be i486.  i686 and athlon=20
rpms were really created primarily for my own personal benefit;=20
you shouldn't worry about them.

"noarch" rpms--well, they're non-architecture-specific (scripts,=20
font packs, and the like, with no ELF files).  Declaring them as=20
"i486" seems like a poor practice to me, as they can actually=20
install and run on any architecture.

"noarch" and "i486" RPMs from the LATEST directory will not=20
conflict.  You can effectively install everything in=20
LATEST/RPMS/i486 and LATEST/RPMS/noarch (with the exception of=20
sendmail* or postfix*) without anything conflicting.

As for how well-tested they are...I'm currently running all the=20
packages in LATEST on various systems.  A few of them (j2sdk and=20
jre in particular) have known problems, but they're not=20
show-stoppers as far as getting an install script going.  The=20
rest are as well-tested as they can be at the moment.

i configured michael and kelledin as admins for inceptionos.org
But one problem with the geeklog.. The cobalt have a admininterface at 
<siteurl/admin> geeklog uses also /admin.. i changed it to /logadmin but 
some parts of geeklog does not regognice that so you must change sometimes 
/admin to /logadmin manually while editing some pages in the admin 
interface (wurgh is that crazy).. And the Database of geeklog is hosted on 
h07-server.org, but we change this until Terry has done the mysql setup 
and sends me the informations..

Well, I've got an irc.openprojects.net channel (#InceptionOS)=20
registered.  It should stay around as long as a channel admin=20

I've returned from the last six months of studying and see that things are
moving along nicely.  I'm grabbing the packages as I write this to build the
system and see how things look.  I'd like to assist where I can, so let me
know what jobs need doing.

I've tinkered a bit with C and C++, but I'm happy to write doco, build
packages (to the InceptionOS standard), test etc.

InceptionOS as we speak; I also asked him to email you and Kelledin
