I've just spent several days trying to get Mantis working on a new (Windows) server. I copied all the PHP scripts across, and tried to copy the DB using Backup/Restore, but the restore kept crashing (lost connection to server!). So I just copied the entire Mantis DB directory across, which looked OK in the MySQL admin GUI. However, Mantis still wouldn't fire up. Then I noticed that there were 3 tables missing from the copied database - the 3 InnoDB ones. I deleted the underlying .FRM files for these 3, and then did a backup/restore of those 3 tables only, and Mantis started up fine. So the procedure for copying the Mantis DB is to copy the entire Mantis DB directory to the new machine, delete the mantis_config_table.frm, mantis_project_heirarchy_table.frm and mantis_tokens_table.frm files, and then backup/restore those 3 tables.
