Hi Steve/all, > In an earlier email, Ken said that he's keen to do the print() -> echo > conversion once the code freeze has happend. Is this still the case? I think it will make the code much cleaner + add a lot of flexibility when it comes customizing the look and the fields on each page. > From what I've seen, it will require people to go through the whole code > base and change the print to echo's, and then at some time in the > future, you'll do it all over again to change to templates. I assume this was going to be done via a script, or a "Replace in files" feature which replaces the strings on all files in one directory tree. But I would rather if we skip this since it makes applying old patches harder! Regards, Victor |
