Yes, I agree, it's not a benefit from templating, but templating=20 encourages you to refactor and improve the project's structure. I think=20 in the long run it's more flexible to use templates. When I look at=20 projects like phpBB2 or YaBB, I'm really impressed by their versatility. I think it adds a lot of benefit to people who run mantis (vulgo=20 administrators) if they can just copy the default mantis templates into=20 their own subdirectory, modify the column order in view_all_bug_page,=20 leave out some fields in view_bug_advanced_page, in short terms=20 customise the mantis UI to their needs.
